The legendary B-town actor says it seems he got married only yesterday

Amitabh Bachchan said he was alone on his 40th wedding anniversary, as wifey Jaya Bachchan is away in New York, and son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are in London.

Sr Bachchan tweeted last night, "It is past the hour of 12 midnight and time to acknowledge 40 years of our marriage .. June 3, 1973 .."

He wrote on his blog on Tumblr: "40 years !! 40 years of marriage on the 3rd of June 2013 .. ! Jaya and I in marriage for 40 years ..! A lifetime almost ! Seems like just the other evening I had driven with my parents to a friends place on Malabar Hill, in the Southern region of the city, and to a very quick, no fuss, no 'taam jhaam', family and a few friends, and a few close media, wedding. A wedding that had the fulfilment of a promise, that if 'Zanjeer' succeeded we would get married ! Here we are now, two children and three grand children, son in law, daughter in law, relatives and 'samdhi's' in our family fold. God has been very kind!"

He added, "The family is away .. in New York and in London on matters that deserve presence and attention greater than a celebration, so I stay with the memories alone .. not in the real sense, for communication is so instant rapid and finite that, distances have been reduced to a mere mention of a destination."

He drifted, "The awe and the unapproachable mention of these far off places has disappeared .. they are reachable unlike old times, if not physically but almost so virtually .. generation after generation shall enjoy perhaps the benefits of this, and who knows the time factor too shall be greatly reduced. The Concorde flying one to NYC from London in three hours was unthinkable. Today they are already talking of reducing that distance to 45 mins, by entering space and reentering it .. who knows what the future shall hold."

The legendary actor thanked everyone on Facebook, saying, "It is the generosity of fans well wishers and friends that greet us today for the 40 years of togetherness .. so much has gone by, so much has been seen and so much affection given by all concerned .. seems just like yesterday that I drove over to a friends place for a simple quick wedding .. and then we were off to London .. my very first trip to a foreign country, excepting Nepal in 1956 .. the thrill and the joy of not just the visit, but also the feeling of now a married man .. unique !! The marvels of the mind .. "

The actor also shared some pictures sent to him by his extended family – EF, as he likes to call them, comprising his fans around the world.

Hope Jaya, Abhi, Ash, baby Aaradhya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Nanda and family join Big B soon!

There's no competition with Sunny: Bobby Deol

Bobby Deol gets talking about big brother Sunny, his laid back attitude and more in an interview

In between back to back interviews during his recent trip to Ahmedabad to promote Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, Bobby Deol takes a breather before settling down for a chat.Excerpts:

This is the first time you are promoting your film so aggressively.
While the need of the day is to go on an aggressive promotional blitzkrieg, a film will work only if it is made well.

How much do promotional campaigns actually help a film?
As an actor I go with the flow. If other members of the Hindi film fraternity are doing aggressive promotional campaigns, then I can do the same. Plus, such promotional trips enable us to meet our fans.

You are going to be seen on screen after a whole year.
I'm very chilled out and like to take things at my own pace. I am not cut out to do too many films at a time. Right from the start of my career I've been that way. There are people who are in the news all the time even when they are not doing films, I don't believe in that. I am satisfied with what I'm doing right now.

This is the third time you will share screen space with your father Dharmendra and brother Sunny. So how is it working with the family members?
It's more comfortable. When you are working for your home production, you are more involved in the process of film making, and you tend to work really hard. You give your best even when you work with others, but at that time you are involved only as an actor, but if it's your own film there is a certain emotional connect too.

Aren't you wary that Dharmendra and Sunny might overshadow you in the film?
Why will I feel that I'm not getting enough mileage if Dharmendra and Sunny are around? I am an actor at the end of the day and I play a character in the film. So there isn't any sort of competition. In fact, I like the comfort level that we share.

You seem to admire your brother a lot.
Sunny has always been ahead of his times. He thought of making a sequel to Ghayal just after it was released. But no producer agreed at that time, as no one was familiar with that format. And now that sequels are being made in India, people say we copy the west. The truth is even Hollywood copies our stories and style of filmmaking. No one talks about that!

10 Exercise Tips for a Better Sex Life

Posted: 03 Jun 2013 11:59 AM PDT

If you're a woman, you may already be familiar with Kegels -- but they're not just for women. Named for a gynecologist, these exercises are used to strengthen the pubococcygeus (or "PC") muscle. The PC muscle functions as a sort of hammock, supporting the pelvic organs including the bladder, reproductive organs and rectum. Often Kegels are prescribed to treat conditions such as incontinence or prostate pain. They can also make vaginal childbirth easier.

Since the PC is also the muscle that contracts during orgasm, Kegels can improve sexual function in both women and men. Women who strengthen the PC muscle with Kegels report more consistent and better orgasms. In men, Kegels can lead to stronger, longer-lasting erections and have helped treat erectile dysfunction.

One of the best things about Kegels is that they're simple and you can do them anywhere. Finding the right muscle can be tricky, though -- you need to focus just on the PC muscle and not any others around it. Women can insert a finger into the vagina and try to contract and release the muscles around it; you should be able to feel your pelvic floor lift and lower. You can also try stopping and starting your urine flow. Once you've identified the muscle, though, don't perform Kegels when urinating because you can actually weaken it. Start with tightening, holding for five seconds and then releasing. Work up to holding the contraction for longer and doing three sets of at least 10 repetitions a day. Many people get results within just a few months.
