Sanjay Dutt in jail: Home food, fan and mosquito repellent, but no cigarettes!

Posted: 17 May 2013 01:54 PM PDT

The actor, who was worried about the conditions in prison, has been granted certain allowances by the TADA court

Sanjay Dutt, who surrendered on May 16 before the special TADA court in Mumbai in order to complete his three-and-a-half year sentence in prison, was worried about the conditions in jail. The troubled Bollywood actor was convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case for possession of arms including AK-56 rifles.

Days before his surrender, Dutt was inconsolable, as he stressed about separation from family and his health in the prison setting. The actor has been granted certain allowances by the court yesterday. According to reports, Special Judge GA Sanap approved the following things upon Dutt's request: home food to keep his diet in check, reading glasses, a fan, a mattress with a bedsheet and pillow, kurta pajama and underclothes, footwear, religious texts, a mosquito repellent cream and medicines for arterial stenosis and high cholesterol.

The judge however denied Dutt permission for carrying cigarettes – not even an electronic one – inside the jail premises. The actor is a chainsmoker and Sanap in fact asked him to 'Stop it'. But quitting smoking suddenly could lead to ill health and it remains to be seen how Dutt takes to it.

The Policegiri actor was scheduled to be shifted to Pune's Yerawada jail on Friday. He was lodged at the Arthur Road jail in Mumbai yesterday, and reportedly skipped dinner.

India’s first animated porn film does not disappoint, Free downloade

Posted: 17 May 2013 01:53 PM PDT

Cineswami exclusively reviews Savita Bhabhi The Movie for BollywoodLife
As part of BollywoodLife's second anniversary celebrations, what better gift to offer you, dear readers, than the first ever review of another film celebrating the centenary of Indian cinema – Savita Bhabhi The Movie, India's first animated porn film. Yes, we know what you're thinking, it's dirty work, but someone has to do it.

The film is set in 2070 and opens with vistas of a cityscape where there are no motorways, only airways as all vehicles fly. Because oil has been found on the moon, vehicles still run on petrol. We are informed that we are in Bombay (a global corporation owns naming rights for the city and they decided to rename it from Mumbai). Though everything seems hunky dory on the surface, it's not, in reality, because of the draconian measures under the Censorship Act where websites are censored.

What really hurts our hero Suraj is that Technology Minister Rakesh Mehta has banned all porn sites. One day, while trawling for porn, Suraj comes across early 2000s porn comics featuring Savita Bhabhi and he is immediately enamoured. He rushes to inform his geeky friend Hari about her. Hari has built a machine that can transport people to any world and this is duly deployed to take the duo to Savita's world.

Suraj and Hari land on Savita's bed in the middle of a game of strip poker that ends with predictable consequences. At the climax, the transport machine malfunctions and the duo, along with the devoid of clothing Savita, return to 2070. The parts required to repair the machine have been seized by Mehta's ministry and while Hari figures out a plan, Suraj equips Savita with his sister's clothes, only for her to shed it soon enough while they make the beast with two backs.

Hari's plan to break into the ministry's repository requires Mehta's fingerprints and retina scan and of course the only way to obtain this is to send Savita to him in the guise of a reporter, which she duly does, dressed in a miniskirt, stockings and a shirt that reveals more than it conceals. It is also decided if Suraj and Hari could get a video of Savita making jiggy with Mehta, it could be used to end the Minister's career. Savita obliges, gets the prints, scan and video and is sent back to her comic book world.

The film is executive produced by Deshmukh, the creator of the original comics. The animation by Sugar Daddy Entertainment is not Hollywood level but is bright, clear and sparkly. Thankfully, their vision of 2070 Bombay is more Blade Runner and The Fifth Element rather than Love Story 2050, that incomparable vehicle for Harman Baweja. Voice direction by Nitin G is top notch with Savita's voice being suitably whiny and sexy, Suraj's aptly heroic and Hari's correctly despo and geeky with the standout being Mehta's sleazeball Minister. The entire voice cast performs well on the moans and grunts score.

Empire Studio UK's dialogue is as filthy and explicit as you can imagine. Nitin Kumar Gupta's music is upbeat with the songs being catchy. And the lyrics make Yo Yo Honey Singh's songs sound like bhajans. What elevates Savita Bhabhi The Movie above a mere animated porn flick is its goofy sense of humour. The film doesn't take itself very seriously and yet, at the same time, manages to make a strong point about the censorship age we live in.

For those of you palm chafers waiting for descriptions of the money shots, let it suffice to say that there is a lot of it and it is hardcore. USD$30 for just 30 minutes of film may sound inordinately high, but hey, it buys you a whole year of self-abuse, if that's the kind of thing that raises your periscope.

Happy Hentai.

9 Things you should never do while having sex

Posted: 17 May 2013 01:52 PM PDT

When you're in bed with your lover, the last thing you want to do is turn them off. That said, here are a few common blunders that you should not commit.

1. Not kissing
Believe it or not, many people (and this includes women) don't kiss their partner when they're having sex. Why? Perhaps because the positioning doesn't allow for it or they are too eager to climax and feel that it might break the rhythm. Nevertheless, it is highly recommended that you make an effort to kiss your partner during the act - it will only add to the experience.

2. Biting before your partner's ready
While many people enjoy an aggressive partner, biting any part of their body before they are aroused may lead to pain and discomfort (and might even lessen the chances of any further action ) or simply scare them off. So make sure your partner is fully excited before you bite their ear, shoulders, neck or any other part of their body.

3. Ignoring everything but sexualised parts

Genitals are great, no doubt, but you should definitely pay attention to other parts of your lover's body and focus for some time on their entire body - knees, wrists, back and stomach are highly erogenous zones for men as well as women. Gently caressing these areas will help excite your partner further; in turn, increasing the chances of them pleasuring you back.

4. Putting your weight on your partner

Even if you're a girl! It's okay to lose yourself in the moment every once in a while and go crazy on your lover. But when you're lying on top of them, you have to be careful not to drop your weight on them. Chocking them or hindering their ability to breathe will anyway kill the moment and any chances of some good action.

5. Climaxing too soon/ too late

This one is especially for men. You need to have good control on your muscles to ensure that you can ejaculate at an appropriate time. Too soon and you may leave your partner unsatisfied; too late and it might leave your partner feeling as if they're pumping iron at the gym. To avoid this, spend a lot more time on foreplay (this will help men as well as women). If you take too long and can only ejaculate via manual stimulation, do your best to get your partner to orgasm and then they can return you the favour.

6. Not warning your partner before you climax

If you're going to let go - and this applies even to women - whether during oral sex or intercourse, you need to tell your partner beforehand. Something as simple as "I'm going to let go," will suffice. Your partner deserves to know.

7. Treating sex like porn

Although some couples enjoy having raunchy sex, you'd be wise to talk to your partner before you engage in such behaviour. If you begin being nasty with your lover without knowing if they like it first, chances are the scenario won't end on a happy note.

8. Staying quiet

Do you like to hear it when your partner is having a good time? So pay them the same respect and speak up when you're enjoying yourself. Something as simple as a little moan, or even saying something like, "that feels so good," will encourage them and educate them further on your moan zones.

9. Mechanical act

It may feel comfortable to you to pump away like you do at the gym, but you'll quickly discover that most people don't enjoy such an act. Mix it up a little bit; go fast at times, then slowly. Be creative and you'll find yourself enjoying some variation too.

Can first time sex hurt women?

Posted: 15 May 2013 10:09 AM PDT

The first time you have sex, it's not all smooth sailing. In fact, many fears are attached to it. Dr Mahinder Watsa tells you what to expect (and what not to expect) the first time you get intimate with someone.

There'll be many a slip
Everybody wants their first time to be perfect. Some even envision it to be some kind of fairytale moment. Nothing wrong with that, but one should know that there could be slip-ups, all the same. The man often wishes intercourse to last longer, but if he achieves orgasm early (presumably due to a rush of excitement), it is okay! Some may even fail to achieve an erection and in that moment of disappointment, label themselves as not being 'up to the mark'. If that is what you think, it is a big mistake. You can always end the session with ample foreplay. If things don't go as planned in the very first time, there's always a second time. If a man can achieve an erection during masturbation, he is normal. So just relax and go with the flow.

Yes, it hurts, but wait
For women, the first time can be a little painful, but hang on. It's not the pain that they must dread. In most cases, the pain is almost like that of finger prick. However, it's the fear of pain that makes things worse. The hype surrounding the pain often induces fear in women, resulting in spasms at the slightest touch. This is where it is important for the partner to step in. Firstly, ensure she feels comfortable with you. Ample foreplay is a must to get the vagina lubricated. Start with inserting a finger to rupture the hymen, and then slowly, proceed towards intercourse. The key is to take it slow.

Bleeding? Maybe. maybe not
That a woman must bleed during her first intercourse is undoubtedly the most misguided notion people harbour. The bleeding occurs when the hymen splits. However, why is it so difficult to understand that the same hymen which is considered a mark of virginity by many men can also split due to other reasons? Rigorous exercises such as cycling can split the hymen. In some cases, it may even be congenitally absent. The hymen can also rupture, when women masturbate. Bleeding, or no bleeding, the fact that you are close enough to your partner to get sexually intimate demands you also put a certain level of trust in her. Doubts, if any, should be cleared right in the beginning, and not in the bed.

Contraception can fail
One wrong move is enough to invite unwanted pregnancy. Don't rely on withdrawal method or the safe days of the woman's menstrual cycle. Unmarried couples must use condoms. If marriage is around the corner, the woman can visit her gynaecologist a month before the wedding. The doctor will put her on oral contraceptives, safe enough to see the couple through the honeymoon phase. Later, the couple can consult the gynaecologist and select the contraceptive method that suits them the best.

It will get messy
When body fluids are exchanged, it can get quite messy. But there are no two ways about it. Either you do it, or you don't. So don't fret too much about unwanted stains and keep an extra sheet handy.

I was loved and hated for being upfront: Sunny Deol

Posted: 15 May 2013 09:37 AM PDT

Sunny Deol is a busy man, what with the sequel of 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' inching close to release. We caught up with the actor-filmmaker in between meetings at his office in Sunny Villa. The otherwise reticent Sunny appeared to be in a candid mood and didn't hesitate to answer our questions. Excerpts from the interview:

The way you function has changed over the years.

(Smiles) Today, it's important to promote your film; it's now part of the filmmaking process.

What about your temperament?

Back then, I used to get irritated with filmmakers and crib about the things we didn't get right. I was both loved and hated for being upfront. But I was just being myself. Today, when I watch my movies online, I feel they are looking nice in totality. At that time though, I never felt so. However, I still get angry even today (laughs).

Why has there been no connect between you and actors who came after you like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan?

I am happy with my family and my colleagues and want to continue making my own kind of cinema. I have never belonged to any camp and have no friends in the industry. Most of them will pay lip service but when it comes to doing, they tend to shy away.

Reportedly, there was trouble during the making of Darr but now, YRF has bought the audio rights of your film. Looks like times are changing

(Serious) Things change over a period of time. At that moment, you tend to be brash. From my point of view, I was right. On their part, they may have been right. Whatever the case, I don't want to dig into the past now. We have all moved ahead. As things stand, they are doing my music and I am hoping they will do a good job.

But things had soured between YRF and you for quite some time.

As old people say, things get better with time, time heals all wound. I am the kind of person who has always done what he wanted to. If they had wanted to work with me, they could have approached me that's not the issue here. At one time, late Yash-ji too wanted to do two to three films but somehow, I am not the kind to do too many things at the same time. I like to take it slow and steady.

But why are you suddenly making a sequel now? Is it because it has become the trend?

No. While I always thought of making sequels to movies like Ghayal, the filmmakers would almost always veto the idea. I used to watch a lot of Hollywood movies and loved the way certain characters kept coming up in further installments of the franchise. However, things are changing for the better now.

Do you want to stick to your image?

No, I don't want clapping... I want a good script.. the action image was all about a man who doesn't give in and stands by his family and friends. It's now more about a normal man and what he wants...

What about Ghayal 2?

I will change the definition of action with that sequel. One should feel the pain when the hero falls and I am going to achieve that. Ghayal 2 is not about the 'dhai kilo ka haath'. It's about inner strength.

Salman Khan to launch Suniel Shetty's daughter

Aditya Panscholi's son Sooraj will make his debut with Suniel Shetty's daughter in the remake of Subhash Ghai's Hero

In the never-ending turf war between kids from film families and rank outsiders, there are fresh reinforcements for the former every day. Joining the ranks of Alia Bhatts and Arjun Kapoors of the industry are two new faces Sooraj-Aditya Panscholi and Athiya-Suniel Shetty.

The two kids will make their debut in the official remake of Jackie Shroff's 1983 blockbuster, Hero. Director Subhash Ghai has sold the remake rights to Salman Khan and the development marks an end to the speculation over 18-year-old Athiya's launch vehicle.

While it is not clear who will direct the project, TOI has learnt that Ghai, who has an ear for music, has been requested to score for the film. If that works out, it will be a milestone in the filmmaker's long and eventful career.

According to a source close to the developments, "Salman has requested Subhashji to help with the music. He has always been a fan of his musical hits Karz, Karma and Khalnayak." As for the kids, Athiya was in New York last year where she studied filmmaking and liberal arts at the New York Film Academy. Reportedly, she was even one of the hot contenders for Sajid Nadiadwala's Heropanti, starring Jackie Shroff's son Tiger.

Sooraj has been training in dance and martial arts. He assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Hrithik-Aishwarya starrer Guzaarish and Kabir Khan in Salman-Katrina starrer Ek Tha Tiger. According to reports, that is where he caught Salman's attention.

The film is likely to go on floors by the end of this year. Subhash Ghai remained unavailable for comment.

5 Reasons why you should masturbate

Posted: 13 May 2013 12:55 PM PDT

Given our busy schedules, perhaps the time has come to enjoy solo sex. Remember, 94% men and 89% women still masturbate on a regular basis. Masturbation doesn't cause any harm to your body until and unless you over do it.

Here, we give you five reasons why you should masturbate.

Masturbation is healthy: Masturbation is one of the best ways to stay healthy and has many health benefits. It can cure diseases like insomnia, stress, anxiety, menstrual cramp, depression, and it can even stimulate your immune system. Some researches say it's also a form of exercise; it can burn a few calories even though it can't match up to gym workout.

It feels really good: Fantasies make masturbating so much fun. So, fantasize about having sex with celebrities, porn stars, strangers and what have you. By masturbating, you can have one of the greatest orgasms of your life.

Masturbation is safe: What's the only 100% safe form of sex? It's masturbation. You don't need to worry about getting pregnant or getting an STD. Unlike sex, masturbation is free of cost. It's your own body, do whatever you want.

Masturbation improves sexual relationship:
You can learn many things from masturbation. It can improve your sexual relationships with your partner. Women can explore their own body through masturbation; they can determine what is erotically pleasing to them and can share this with their partners.

Arjun Kapoor: I will never kiss and tell!

Posted: 12 May 2013 08:45 AM PDT

The Aurangzeb actor talks about dating, fitness and hanging out with his superstar Bollywood friends

Just one film old, Arjun Kapoor is not your regular star kid. Sure, he grew up surrounded by all things Bollywood and filmi types, since he is, after all, a big time producer's son, but he is as non-celebrity as is possible. The lad hasn't even hired a personal PR person! And as the down-to-earth budding star gears up for the release of his second film, we get down to an exclusive chat with the young actor who has worked hard over the past year on his fitness levels, his acting skills and his new look as a suave gangster. So meet the baddest man – and his double – to be featured on the big screen soon!

Which are your favourite gangster movies?

I have been a huge fan of the genre. Some of my all time favourites are City of God, Scarface, Gangs of New York….the list is just endless. I also loved Ram Gopal Varma's Company and Satya.

Did you base the gangster that you play in Aurangzeb on some real life person?

I am playing two characters. One is a gangster who comes to take over his father's throne and the other one is a lookalike planted in place of the real guy. But to answer your question – I never tried to base the character on someone. I didn't want to get into referencing the character, because subconsciously it plays on your head while you're performing, if you've seen something and it leaves an impression. So I tried to find my own interpretation of it. And that is the beauty of being an actor; it allows you to find your own interpretation of the script or character that is written. Since they feel you can play it, because the director believes you are capable and that inherently there is something within you to play the character, why do you need to look outside for reference? That's how I like to approach a role. You get to live vicariously through a character. So somewhere maybe if I would have been a gangster, I would have been this negative and this violent, this is how I would have been at another time and place.

But in your own personal life, you hardly live vicariously! You're known to be a very calm and composed guy. No news on you dating co-actors or anything…..

Because I'm not dating anybody that you know about, I'm calm? I like how you've made me a calm person because I'm not seeing anyone! Hey, even if I was, nobody would know about it, because I don't flaunt things. I don't like to speak about these things. A gentleman should never kiss and tell, to begin with. The reason your question has come is because I don't have any personal PR. I don't believe in that. I believe in my work speaking for me, and I'm hoping it does. Aurangzeb has come a year after Ishaqzaade, and in between if the media doesn't get any material about me, my link-ups or any controversy, I think that's a good thing. It means I'm not doing any personal PR. I'm very happy about it. I'm not that kind of person. I am a very private person by nature, and I enjoy my personal space. I don't lie to flaunt things or be too loud about my shenanigans. I'm not in that game at all!

So who do you hang out with – friends from the film industry?

I hang with Varun (Dhawan) and his brother Rohit. Then Ranbir is a friend. Katrina too is a good friend of mine. Also I and Ranveer are very close, contrary to popular belief. I also know Anushka really well. There are so many friends within the industry. Parineeti – she is a good friend, of course, because we have done our first film together. Alia is now a friend, because we've shot together. I guess I've grown up in the same lot, so I get along well with most of them. And they all are my age, so we mix well.

About Aurangzeb – with the double role, is it in any way a return to the 70's?

Well, the film is based in contemporary India. It is based on the land mafia in Gurgaon today. The world is today's. So when you go into the film, you can imagine that all this is happening right now, as you're watching. But the way Atul (Sabharwal) has structured the film and the dialogues will give you the vibe of an old school Hindi drama of confrontations. Something like a Trishul or a Deewar, or even Kalyug that was made years ago with Shashi Kapoor. So it has a mix of the old world charm of the dialogue-baazi , the confrontation, the drama unfolding.

But in a more slick manner…

Exactly. So it is set in present day Gurgaon, and that's where the youth will relate to the film, because today this whole ideology of politics getting mixed with underworld is prominent. The underworld is no longer just in Bombay. It has actually gone and merged with the power nexus that is formed with the political connects in Delhi. And Gurgaon is this ever so cool place that is developing, with so many job opportunities and all. But the underbelly of this still has the black money and the crime. I wouldn't name names, but there is a real dark side to Gurgaon that we have explored in the film.

And to become a suave gangster, you decided to bulk up?

Yeah, I trained under my personal trainer Adam Gethin for a while, and now I'm training with Harry Ranston.. Adam I worked with for a month or two. And for my recent Men's Health cover, I trained with Harry. The thing is, with our lives as actors, we don't get time to think about each and every aspect of things. So having a trainer who is 24/7 with you is a huge relief. It allows you to be stress free for that part. My transformation will hopefully be visible in the Men's Health cover I recently did. Because for a guy who was 140 kilos, I could only reach a certain level of fitness. But they've taken me to a whole new level. And of course I'm going to move on from this too. Fitness and body building is something you're never satisfied with. Of course, there are good days and bad days in the gym. Also, you can't sustain it every day. For example, I had a shoulder injury and couldn't train for two weeks. I injured my shoulder while dancing, so I had to give it a break. But I will start picking up again. There are these phases, carb loading, train volume, reduce volume, etc. So lots of permutations and combinations to see whatever works!

For once being 140 kilos, you've really built quite a physique!

Yes, well, most people believe that it is an illusion, me on the Men's Health cover. They think it is Photoshop or something, but I'm happy to say it isn't. My body fat has been negligible over the past few months. Now since the last two weeks that I haven't worked out, it may have increased a bit. But as I said, most people don't believe that I have done it!

We heard you and Ranveer worked out together on the sets of Gunday. Any gym rivalry there?

(Laughs) When we were in Calcutta shooting for Gunday, we were working out together. There was no rivalry as such between me and Ranveer, even while picking up weights! We were just fooling around. He was doing his own thing and so was I. We were all just working out together and having a ball.

Tell us about the new look in Aurangzeb. What is the feedback?

Everyone has loved the look. The long hair seems to be working for most people. The suited, booted gangster – it almost gives the vibe of a cooler gangster, rather than the regular, run of the mill dark and gritty underworld type. He is more of a bad boy. And when you have a suave looking bad boy, it always makes for good viewing. So I'm quite excited to see how people react to the film as well!

Does Shahrukh Khan charge Rs 8 crore for a wedding performance?

Posted: 12 May 2013 08:45 AM PDT

The Chennai Express star is reportedly demanding the mind boggling amount to shake a leg at wedding ceremonies

It's certainly not easy to make Shahrukh Khan dance! Ask a certain high profile gutka baron or any topmost industrialist and they'll couch for that. Our crorepati actors are always on the lookout to make some easy money, and since quite a few years now, B-town actors performing at glitzy wedding ceremonies has become a trend.

It wouldn't be wrong to say that the King Khan of Bollywood is indeed the King among his male B-town colleagues when it comes to charging the highest remuneration for performing and making appearances at high-profile weddings. From what we hear, Bollywood's Badshah is charging about USD 15,000 for an appearance and close to Rs 8 crore for a wedding performance.

SRK was paid approximately Rs 8 crore for a 30-minute performance at a high-profile wedding at one of Dubai's plushest hotel last week, as per a tabloid report. As more and more rich industrialists and business tycoons are ready to shell out this kind of money, apna B-town actors try to cash in on the lucrative offers. As far as Shahrukh is concerned, it's said that he performs only for people he personally knows. Hmm… millions of his fans and well wishers have not bestowed upon superlatives like 'Badshah' or 'King' on this superstar just for nothing!

Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar shoot in a vintage Cadillac for Shaadi Ke Side Effects

The duo was spotted driving around in a 54-year-old red beauty
At first when we found out that Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar will star opposite each other in Saket Chaudhary's romantic comedy Shaadi Ke Side Effects, we thought they would make for an odd couple. We were not too convinced even after seeing the first look of the film. But a cool photograph from the sets of the movie has made us change our mind.

The couple looks quite unconventional but cool together, especially since Vidya seems to have shed a few kilos. But that's not the only thing that we found interesting. What we couldn't take our eyes off was the red Cadillac that the two were posing in! The duo will be seen driving around in this 54-year-old red beauty, which will definitely be the highlight of the film, apart from the Vidya-Farhan romance of course!

8 Weird things men like in women

Posted: 11 May 2013 01:39 PM PDT

Men are crazy. And they get crazier when they see you approach them in those red pumps and skinny jeans with a baggy and casual tee in style and confidence.

Although there are a thousand things that make you irresistible, here are the top most unbelievable ones:

1. No make-up: Oops. Sorry girl. There's a great chance that your guy hasn't even noticed your smokey eyes or the new bronzer on your face. Save money and turn him on!

2. Lingerie that doesn't match: And you thought you should pair your lacy, satin purple panties with a purple bra? Show him that you are unprepared and yet give in to his desires and make yourself hotter!

3. Wit: You thought it was all about physical contact? Crack a joke or flash your smile and he's sure to get wooed! Tip: It's better still if you are game even for jokes that are played on you. And why not? It just proves how self-assured you are.

4. Curvy is sexy: He doesn't like flat abs and zero sizes. Men love love-handles.

5. Intelligence, confidence, emotional maturity and sexual openness: Flaunt your real self (sans the gloss), support him when he is down, talk dirty and show your sensual attitude, and girl, you've got him!

6. Wearing a baggy tee to bed: Stay casual and he'll be more comfortable in your company. Don't intimidate him by being prim always or sounding like a know-it-all.

7. Unkempt hair: Whoa, why get prim and proper when your man likes your out-of-the-bed hair or smudged kohl eyes?

8. Eye contact: Make yourself irresistible by looking at his eyes and putting across your point. Don't be shy.
