Anjana Sukhani feels lets down by RGV

Posted: 10 May 2012 11:46 AM PDT

Anjana Sukhani
Ram Gopal Verma has always believed in focussing on her item girls in the film's promotions than the lead actresses in the same. He followed the strategy successfully in focussing on Esha Koppikar in the 'Khallas' song while promoting his flick 'Company' in the past. He is doing the same for his forthcoming 'Department'. As such, Nathalia Kaur, the item girl in the flick, is hogging all the limelight in the promos of 'Department' while the lead actresses Anjana Sukhani, Lakshmi Manchu and Madhu Shalini are nowhere to be seen. RGV even organised an elaborate press conference just to introduce his new muse.
The fact has not gone down well with Anjana Sukhani who is feeling let down by this biased treatment of the producer. In a recent interview she said, "Honestly, yes, I am upset. I feel it is a little unfair. Actors are equally involved in the making of a film. If it is a failure, the actor is also considered a flop, and when a film is a hit, everybody is credited for the success. I am not saying that he is only promoting the item song. I say that every actor should get an equal share of being part of the publicity and promotion because they form an integral part of the film."

shahrukh kajol
Shahrukh Khan and Kajol were last seen together in 2010 in Karan Johar's blockbuster hit 'My Name Is Khan'. Be it their last hit, or their previous blockbusters like 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' and 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham', the couple spark an unmatched chemistry together on screen.
If things go as planned, their fans may once again see this fabulous Jodi on screen under the direction of Karan Johar who is a self confessed fan of this Jodi. Reports have it that Karan has yet another romantic project with these two stars in the lead in his mind, but he is refraining from discussing the project right now as he is busy with his upcoming film 'Student Of The Year'.
However, the film won't roll before 2013 as Shahrukh is busy with a Yashraj Film with Katrina Kaif and will move on to Farah Khan's Happy New Year after that. Meanwhile, Kajol is very much in shape and style these days and looks stunning at her recent public appearances.

Imported Kamariya
Dibakar Banerjee is leaving no stones unturned in creating the right hype and right interest in his forthcoming 'Shanghai'. If the look and feel of the lead stars Emraan Hashmi and Abhay Deol in the first look trailer was not enough and even before the controversy around the song 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' from the film could cool down, the makers of the film have revealed another highlight of their film. They have revealed their item girl who will sizzle in the item number 'Imported Kamariya'.
Talking about Scarlett Mellish Wilson, the girl is from Britain and though she has already done quite a few commercials, this will be the first time she will appear on bigger screen.
Diakar Banerjee is all praises for the sensuous beauty and says, "Someone recommended Scarlett for our item song. I couldn't believe how well she danced! Scarlett is by far one of the best in the Bollywood dance form I've seen. Usually when foreigners do Bollywood dancing, there's a certain amount of stiffness in their movements. Not Scarlett. She takes to the rhythms as though she was born to the desi beat".

vidya Rajat Kamal award
Vidya Balan is still not done with basking in the dirtiness of her 'The Dirty Picture' and she is still adding more and more feathers to her crown. Indian Vice President Hamid Ansari awarded Vidya Balan with the Best Actress National Award, the Rajat Kamal, at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi for her bold and unmatched performance in 'The Dirty Picture'. The event was hosted by actors Vinay Pathak and Saumya Tandon.
Vidya was accompanied by her parents. Her beau Siddharth Roy Kapur was also there to receive award for Chillar Party (Best Children's Film) on behalf of UTV.
The audience went berseck in applauding Balan as she ascended the stage looking as graceful as ever in a rose pink-coloured Kanjeevaram saree, minimal make-up and chandelier earrings.
"I am extremely humbled. This (National Award) is the highest honour for any actor, and I feel happy and humbled and I just wish that the team of The Dirty Picture was with me to share this moment. This is truly humbling," Vidya Balan told reporters after receiving the award.
Among other winners, actor Sanjay Suri and director Onir received the Best Hindi Film prize for I AM, and Marathi actor Girish Kulkarni was this year's Best Actor for Deool.

Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif to have fist-to-fist clash in ‘Dhoom 3′

Posted: 05 May 2012 08:04 PM PDT

dhoom3 aamir katrina
What we already know is the fact that both Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif are undergoing strenuous training for their fight sequences in the forthcoming 'Dhoom 3' where Aamir Khan is playing super villain and Kats is on the good side.
What we have come to know lately is that petite Katrina will be matching some very breathtaking fight sequences with our perfectionist Aamir Khan. As such Yash Raj Films' 'Dhoom 3' will be having serious fist-to-fist clashes with perfectionist Khan in the flick.
The sequences are very precious to the film and will be shot aesthetically with the able support of the latest in technology. In fact, Aamir wants this action sequence to be so well synchronised that he has expressed his willingness to train with Katrina to perfect each other's moves. However, since he is busy these days with the promotion of his forthcoming TV show 'Satyamev Jayate', he will start the training schedule only after his show goes on air.
It would be a real visual treat to see the two actors matching their powers against each other!!
