Downloade: Shahrukh Khan and Priyamani in item song 'One Two Three Four'

Posted: 31 Jul 2013 08:56 AM PDT

One Two Three Four
Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan shakes his booty with total abandon in the Chennai Express item song featuring the beautiful Priyamani from down south.

The song, titled 'One Two Three Four', is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and has lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The song's video shows Shahrukh Khan being held back by two ruffians even as Priyamani grooves to the peppy beat with a slew of extras in the backdrop.

In no time, Shahrukh too is shaking his leg with her. The dance moves, by Prabhu Deva's brother Raju Sundaram, are fun to watch, without ever looking vulgar. The lyrics, too, abstain from bawdy references. So, 'One Two Three Four' is pretty much a clean song for universal viewing.

The highlight of the number is indeed the energetic jig by Shahrukh. One can't say that the superstar was down with a shoulder injury at the time of this shoot.

Chennai Express is a Rohit Shetty film slated to release on August 8. It features Deepika Padukone opposite Shahrukh Khan.

Poonam Pandey bares her heart and talks about making it to Bollywood without a godfather, tiding over crises and controversies, and dealing with her parents who are "embarrassed" by her public image.

The posters of Nasha reportedly irked the members of a political party so much that they pulled it down. Poonam Pandey, who plays the lead in the erotic thriller, says it has hurt her sentiments.

"This has hurt me. I don't normally allow myself to get affected. But I never expected I'd be targeted this way for my first film. It has made me nervous," said Poonam.

"I knew, I wouldn't be welcomed with open arms into cinema. I've no godfather, no support from the industry. But I didn't expect to be welcomed in this way. What have I done that is so scandalous?"

"I don't think I've ever crossed limits. I've always said more than I've done. I've seen so many posters and hoardings that are far more suggestive than mine. My posters have nothing scandalous in them. I haven't shown my private parts."

"People in this country give so much respect to a hardcore porn actress from abroad. Whereas I have never done anything that can be considered pornographic. I have never crossed limits. 'Nasha' is not a porn film. It's a proper mainstream Hindi film. Of course, since I star in it, there's skin show. But that apart, there is a lot to take away from the film."

Ranbir kapoor and katrina kaif scandal

Posted: 31 Jul 2013 08:56 AM PDT

A few days back, it had been reported that Rishi Kapoor and wife Neetu Singh were quite miffed over the leaked photographs of their son Ranbir Kapoor having a great time with a bikini-clad Katrina Kaif on a beach in Spain.

However, it now seems that Rishi Kapoor, who had played romantic roles during his youth, seems quite unperturbed about his son's dalliances. In an interview to a film magazine, the veteran actor said that his son is successful and that any girl would want to date him. Kapoor Sr further asked wryly if his son is supposed to do all this when he grows as old as his father. Ranbir, who is said to be dating Katrina, has also been linked to Deepika Padukone and Nargis Fakhri in the past.

Ranbir and Rishi will come together on the silver screen for the very first time in Abhinav Kashyap's Besharam, where the former will play the role of a thief whereas the latter will play the role of a Haryanvi cop.

'Chennai Express' to become the biggest Bollywood release in UK

Posted: 31 Jul 2013 08:56 AM PDT

London: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's latest film 'Chennai Express' will get the biggest release for any Indian film in the UK. The comic caper, co-starring Deepika Padukone and directed by Rohit Shetty, will hit cinemas around the world on next Friday.

"I am very glad the film is getting such a big release here. UK audiences are fantastic. I don't believe that actors have regional appeal but I have to accept that some of my star value is largely down to audiences here," said Shah Rukh Khan, during a promotional tour for the film in London.

"With all humility and kindness, I would like to request them to keep watching my films the same way. It is a great fun film, the kind I haven t done before and I promise it will be a great ride," he added, speaking to media-persons at

Courthouse Hotel in central London.

The film is expected to release across 125 cinemas and 170 screens across the UK, marking one of the widest Bollywood releases in the country.

"As a Shah Rukh starrer and an all-out commercial entertainer, it does deserve the widest release of all time. In terms of marketing as well, we have gone all out. We just wanted to ensure that it is a movie that everyone has as their first choice in this festival season when people want to go out and watch a movie," said Siddharth Roy Kapur, managing director studios for Disney UTV, the co-producers and distributors of the film.

'Chennai Express', described as an action-packed romantic comedy, brings Khan together with his 'Om Shanti Om' co-star Deepika Padukone.

The film is set in South India and has resulted in some criticism of both actors' shaky Tamil accent in the film.

"As an entertainer for 22 years, one thing is clear in my head that I have never tried to depict anything wrong intentionally. People will always have their viewpoints, especially now with social media. But one doesn't become a legend without controversies," Khan joked.

Posted: 30 Jul 2013 01:39 PM PDT

Few days back Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's holiday pictures went viral on the net. And now everyone knows about the duo's relationship. Since Katrina accompanied Ranbir to Sri Lanka as he is shooting for Bombay Velvet, the two are spending some quality time. According to our sources Kat preferred to stay in her room while Ranbir went on the sets to shoot. But looks like Ranbir can't stay without her for too long. Apparently Ranbir asked Katrina to accompany her even on the sets and now Katrina watches Ranbir while he emotes on-screen. Cute naa?

Nasha Movie Review: Poonam Pandey’s 'Nasha' is for easily excitable teens

Posted: 27 Jul 2013 12:26 PM PDT

The ApunKaChoice movie review of Nasha. The hot and irrepressible Miss Poonam Pandey, who's carved a career out of her curves, makes her Bollywood debut in the purported erotic love story titled Nasha. So is the film a no-holds-barred sexual romp, or a sensitive tale of teenage infatuation, or just a damp squib with the same old stale nasha in a new bottle? Let's find out.

First things first. A film launching a serial stripper with the reputation to drop her clothes for a lark raises, among other things, expectations of titillation seekers. A viewer, particularly a hormonally charged one, would expect a romp through onscreen sexapades of the said siren with a liberal sprinkling of bathing sessions, bedroom capers, orgasmic grunts, and a lot of other carnally related stuff. Alas -- and here's the downer -- not much of it is to be had in director Amit Saxena's Nasha. The movie peddles as much as lingering shots of Miss Pandey's legs, her bare back, and her ever-distracting cleavage. Period. In short, this Nasha isn't high on sexual potency.

What it comes close to being is a tale of teenage infatuation. How?

Sahil (Shivam Patil), an impressionable 18-year-old teen in a Panchgani school, has the hots for his 25-year-old sexy drama teacher Anita Ma'am (Poonam Pandey). What starts off as attraction, turns into infatuation, so much so that Sahil dumps his regular girlfriend Tia (Sheetal Singh) and gets busy looking for excuses to spend time with his Miss hotpants-in-a-peekaboo-dress Anita Ma'am. When the Ma'am seemingly reciprocates, the young lad's hopes (among other things?) go up. But he's left heartbroken to find that she has a lover and he even spies on them during a make-out session. Infatuation turns into obsession and addiction, and our young buoyant hero turns into a brooder with murderous thoughts. Will he be able to let go of his teenage love and obsession?

Nasha falters on many fronts. Not only does it not channel the anxieties of a teenager with a massive crush on his teacher, it also doesn't live up to its promise of unbridled erotica, ending up a mish-mash of the two. Add to that a rusty performance by the leading lady Poonam Pandey. Even if you ignore her affected accent, it's hard to not notice her make-believe facial expressions. That's where her cleavage comes handy as a distraction. Pitted opposite her, the young Shivam Patil puts in a commendable performance for a debutant.

Amit Saxena's direction isn't really as tacky as the script, and James Fowlds' camera throws up some wonderful shots.

Nasha is strictly for Poonam Pandey's drooling followers. It's mildly titillating, bleakly reflective and hardly thought-provoking.

Next Emraan Hashmi Talks: What's wrong with intimate scenes and kissing

Neil Nitin Mukesh was recently in the news for his accident on a film sets.
The actor tells CS, `I did not realise that gunpowder had entered into my eyes. There was a lot of burning but thankfully there was no major injury.` The actor who is now busy shooting for a crime drama talks to us about his choice of films, doing intimate scenes and why the 100-crore club does not bother him.

Edgy choices
While choosing my films, I look for the content i.e. the story being told. I like characters that are somewhat different. The length of a role is immaterial for me. Even if I have a screen time of 10 minutes, it does not matter to me as long as my character leaves an impact. I prefer larger-than-life characters, which are completely different to my real-life persona.

Memories, not monies
I am not at all bothered about the Rs 100 crore club. Of course, I am happy for people who make that kind of money, and I too would love to be a part of the brigade. However, working in a good film is what matters the most to me.

A good film is one which the audience remembers over a period of time. It need not be a film raking in Rs 100 crores at the box-office.

I would like to add that I am really grateful that people know me as an actor, and not a star. Their recognition matters the most. They like me as an actor, which is very encouraging.

Kiss and tell
There's nothing wrong with doing an intimate scene if a script demands it. When it comes to kissing scenes, I feel they should be performed aesthetically. A kiss is a beautiful thing (laughs). I feel that kissing scenes are over-hyped.

They have been happening in our films since the times of Raj Kapoor and even Aamir Khan. I don't understand why people make such a noise about it? As far as the tag of the next Emraan Hashmi is concerned, I am not here to dethrone anyone (laughs). I want to be remembered for my performances.

True to myself
As an actor, one needs to be grounded. I have not changed even though I have been a part of the industry since seven years. I go to the same gym and park for jogging. I meet fans and pose for photographs. I feel fans are the most important part of an actor's life. My association with an NGO also helps me stay in touch with the realities of the world.
