Vidya Balan blended well with the essence of Kolkata in 'Kahaani' and Delhi in 'No One Killed Jessica'. Now, the actress is all set to explore the streets of Mumbai in Rajkumar Gupta's next 'Ghanchakkar'. This will be Gupta's second film with Vidya after 'No One Killed Jessica'.
The film will capture the streets of Mumbai with hidden cameras, just the strategy Gupta had used while shooting for 'Aamir' with Rajeev Khandelwal.
"This time I'll be capturing another side to Mumbai, very different from Aamir. The metropolitan spaces occupied by Vidya in Ghanchakkar will be very different from what she occupied of Kolkata in Kahaani and Delhi in No One Killed Jessica," Gupta says.
Vidya Balan has successfully played the very challenging roles of Sabrina Lal in 'No one Killed Jessica', Silk Smitha in 'The Dirty Picture' and Vidya Bagchi in 'Kahaani'. Now, the actress accepts the challenge of playing a simple housewife in her next project. There are no dramatic incidents or mysterious murders in the script and the story revolves around the daily life of an average housewife.
"I had decided I wanted her for Ghanchakkar even when we were working together on Jessica. It is only now there's a growing anxiety about Vidya's positioning in the audiences' perception," says Gupta.
Emraan Hashmi has been cast opposite Vidya in the flick and his role is as important as that of Vidya. "Emraan Hashmi has just delivered a string of hits. Ghanchakkar is not Vidya's film alone. It is Emraan's film in an equal measure. Vidya is fine with sharing the limelight," Gupta adds.

Satyamev Jayate sridevi
Aamir Khan is raising sensitive social issues with his show 'Satyamev Jayate'. His first episode was based on female infanticide and next he deals with the horrifying real life experiences of sexual abuse by children.
This episode of the show brought into limelight heart breaking story of Harish Aiyer, who he was abused by a man for 11 years. Harish revealed that when he tried to confide in his mother, she didn't take him seriously. He could handle this horrific phase of his life through the sheer support of his dog and Bollywood movies, especially the ones starring Sridevi.
And what could be a better gift to Harish than make him meet his adorable actress, Sridevi herself. Sridevi made a special appearance on the show for Harish and also gave him a special gift. Harish was obviously elated to meet his favourite star whose screen presence gave him a relief from his tragic life.
There were also other victims on the show. The show was concluded with Aamir explaining the Good Touch, Bad Touch to children to help them evade sexual abuse and to recognize their predators. The actor also appealed to people to press the government to pass the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Bill in parliament.

Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha promote ‘Rowdy Rathore’

Rowdy Rathore
Akshay Kumar is definitely kicked up about his forthcoming 'Rowdy Rathore' as it is his return to his first love, i.e., action films. The film is directed by Prabhudeva and Akshay is all praises for him.
"I think this the perfect comeback. What is better than the guy who wanted such a good action film, is not directing 'Rowdy Rathore'. Prabhu has action and more action. His mind is full of action and he choreographs action," he said.
The film has completed its first stage and both Akshay and Sonkashi are busy these days with the promotion of the flick. At one such promotional event, the stars were made to travel in a vehicle next to an auto rickshaw race organised by the team.
"I was asked to stand in the jeep. Whatever has been told to me I will do. When I was sitting in the jeep I said many times that give me also the auto rickshaw to ride. Maybe the reason was that I don't even have a license to drive an auto. You have to follow the rules," Akshay Kumar told reporters.
The actors looked rowdy and attractive as they both turned up in pink at the event. "It's not only pink but yellow, red all are rowdy. When I got these clothes for the first time, I was shocked but then I got used to it. A lot of people like to wear such clothes. This is just a character and I would love to play it," Akshay was quoted saying.
Check out Akshay and Sonakshi exuding naturally strong chemistry at the promotional event…….

Big B matches steps with Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan

Bol Bachchan
Health and illness have not affected Big B's enthusiasm in any way. The superstar seems to be in full form, energy and zeal as he shakes his leg with Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan for the title song of Rohit Shetty's film Bol Bachchan.
The song recreates the magic of the song 'My name is….' from Big B's yesteryear's superhit 'Amar Akbar Anthony' where he makes his entry on the stage from a lifesize egg. Strangely, Big B admits getting nervous before the shoot of the song.
"'BolBachchan' on my mind and some rather large butterflies in my stomach .. hope it holds up – physically and metaphorically !!" Amitabh Bachchan wrote on Twitter before the shoot.
"Rohit Shetty directing, a young cool crew, respectful and some that worked with me from early days .. such a joy to meet them all .. and yes the butterflies are enjoying the music … dancing like mad !! "Please stop, baby you're destroying my nerves" .." he added.
