India should take ‘hard’ stand: Shahrukh Khan

Posted: 12 Jan 2013 08:42 AM PST

Reacting to reports about the barbaric killing of two Indian soldiers by Pakistani troops at the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, actor Shahrukh Khan says he feels deeply sad, and India should take a 'hard' stand.
"Things like country, politics, sports, war, border should be kept different… (he recalled that his earlier remarks on sports had raised a controversy) In a country so volatile, where the youth demand a hard stand… which is a good thing in a democracy. I don't want to participate in anything of which we both don't have knowledge. I think you and I should be looking at methods to end this strife at the border," the thespian said.
"I have been watching TV, where people are saying "haan sabak sikha denge" (let's teach them a lesson). That is completely wrong. It is sad, soldiers should not die for unnecessary reasons. We should take a hard stand. We should be very clear and whoever does wrong, should have to account for it and be put to the test. As an Indian, I am deeply saddened," Khan said.

Sunny Leone has rubbished reports that she will be doing an item song in Anil Sharma's "Singh Saheb The Great."
"No. Right now I am only focussing on 'Ragini MMS 2′ and also PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) ad," the 31-year-old said here Thursday at an event by PETA.
Sunny, who made her Bollywood debut with "Jism 2″ in 2012, says her next "Ragini MMS 2″ will be scarier than one can imagine.
"You guys are going to be really scared. I will be like jumping at you out of the screen. What happens in this movie is very, very scary. It will be more than scary," Sunny said.
Being directed by Bhushan Patel, "Ragini MMS 2″ is a sequel to the 2011 horror-thriller "Ragini MMS".
She has not started shooting for the film yet and said: "Actually, I have not quite started working with (producer) Ekta Kapoor yet, but everything so far is absolutely amazing. The songs in this movie, the introduction and everything about it so amazing." -IANS
