 Both Katrina and Kareena were in the race for the lead role in the film Satyagrah which is based on the issue of corruption, said to be loosely inspired from the Anna Hazare movement. The movie stars Akshay Kumar in the male lead and he is also co-producing the film. Kareena Kapoor or Katrina Kaif may have been rivals for this role but they have come together for the cover of Cineblitz magazine April 2012 cover.  Bollywood's most cherished and talked about couple, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's love story was a secret love affair. Least they gave the world to sense that something has been cooked between them. It was a hush-hush love story which started on the set of 'Dhoom 2', blossomed on the set of 'Guru' and finally after the release of the film they tied the knot on April 20th, 2007. Though love cannot be described through words, Abhishek describes in a simple word as what attracts him towards Ash and vise versa. He likes Aishwarya 'uncomplicated' and 'always smiling' habit and Aishwarya was attracted towards Abhi's 'down to earth' nature. It was obviously not a love at first sight. Aishwarya and Abhishek acted together in films like 'Kuch Na Kaho', 'Dhai Akshar Prem Ka' and 'Umrao Jaan' but they did not realize then that they are made for each other. The duration between their love and marriage was not too long. They announced their engagement on 14 January 2007 and got married on 20 April 2007, according to traditional Hindu rituals amidst fanfare and media glare. Post marriage, the newly married couple starred together in films like 'Sarkar Raj', Raavan' and the duo got considerable amount of time to spend together. Aishwarya was also the choice of Abhishek's parents, Amitabh and Jaya. Ash developed a good rapport with Big B during the shooting of the item number 'Kajra Re'. Aishwarya was touted as the perfect Bachchan bahu. The way she keeps a balance between her personal and professional life has been highly commendable. Aishwarya and Abhishek became proud parents of a little girl on November 16, 2011. Today, the duo completed five years of marital bliss and still they look rocking. The duo compliments each other in every way. We wish the couple a very blissful married life ahead!  |
