Shanghai emraan
There is no denying the fact that Emraan Hashmi has given many successful films at the box office. His last release 'Murder 2' was a big Bollywood hit and the first look and trailer of his forthcoming 'Shanghai' looks quite promising. Emraan plays a foul-mouthed reporter in this Dibakar Banerjee's flick and for this, he had to chew tobacco.
On the first day of the shoot, Emraan Hashmi was asked to chew tobacco for a scene and Emraan found the taste so disgusting that he almost threw up and felt giddy.
The director insisted that since his role required him to do it, there was no other way out. After a lot of discussions, Banerjee and Emraan Hashmi came to the conclusion that the actor should chew tobacco.
However, Emraan failed to appear for a promotional event with his co-star since he was busy with his shoot for 'Jannat 2'.
A disappointed Banerjee said, "I was heartbroken that we were not able to kick off the promotions with a trailer launch. We went through a lot trying to coordinate Emraan and Abhay's dates and then change it all over again." Shanghai is Banerjee's release after two years, since his last film LSD: Love, Sex Aur Dhokha. The movie stars Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi and Kalki Koechlin.
The first trailer of the flick shows Emraan as a rustic, paan-chewing village thug and he made his way into cine lovers hearts when he gave a scornful smile, his paan-stained teeth flashing on the screen.

shahrukh khan smoking
Many a times in the past, Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan has landed into trouble for smoking in the public which is banned in quite a few cities across India. Once again, SRK has landed in a legal soup by smoking at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur during an IPL match between his team Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. To add to the damages, the footage was broadcasted live on the TV.
Anand Singh Rathore, the director of Jaipur Cricket Academy, has lodged a legal suit against Shahrukh Khan. Rathore also wants an enquiry over why Shahrukh was allowed to carry cigarettes inside the stadium when the security doesn't allow cigarettes, match-boxes, lighters and even water bottles inside the stadium.
The additional chief judicial magistrate's court has fixed April 12 as the date for next hearing.
It may be mentioned here that in 2008, the then health minister Ambumani Ramadoss had a public tiff related to Shahrukh smoking on-screen in the remake of Don.
SRK himself is aware of his addiction and had once said, "I know this (smoking) is a bad thing but the habit doesn't leave me. I am trying hard. Even if someone says it to me or not, I know about the ill-effects of smoking. I will try it and give it up on my own. I know it is not a good thing."

ash comeback
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is still basking in the glory of motherhood or so it seems from her lack of interest to lose those extra chubby fats. Her husband Abhishek Bachchan's comment sometime back that Ash was pretty happy playing a mom supported the guesses that she was not too keen to return to her career.
However, recent moves by Aishwarya suggest a turn of things. Not only did she attend an event in Dubai as a brand ambassador of the luxury watch brand Longines, she will also attend the Cannes Festival this year as a brand ambassador of the cosmetic giant L'Oreal. On the advertisement front, the beauty is eyeing on endorsement deal with an Indian jewellery brand for a staggering amount of Rs.10 crore. Rumors have it that she will be seen with her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan in these jewellery advertisements.
On her returning to the silver screen, husband Abhishek Bachchan says, "As and when she wants to come back, is completely her decision. As and when she decides, when she sees a script she is inspired by – the decision is entirely hers."
