Shilpa Shetty to select and style the cheer girls for MMA league

Shilpa Shetty has already played quite a few diverse roles successfully from being a ramp scorcher to a successful actress, a smart business woman to a dedicated home maker. Her new venture into motherhood has not dampened her spirit in any way for she has multiple projects in her hand at the minute.

While Shilpa's hubby Raj Kundra along is launching a mixed martial arts fighting league in the country along with Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa has come forward to take up the job of selecting and styling the cheer girls for the tournament.

Says Shilpa, "I can't be actively involved in running around daily but auditioning the ring girls is something which I believe is extremely important and I can help in that," adding, "I am in the process of shortlisting the ring girls. They are such an important part of the tourney as they get equally noticed as the contestants. As this is a new project for us, we are leaving no stone unturned to make the event enjoyable coupled with the glam factor."

Apart from the selection of the girls she will also style them for the event with help of her designer buddies Shantanu and Nikhil.

She says, "I'm grateful to Shantanu and Nikhil for being helping us. They are super designers and we will make sure that we can raise the oomph factor to dizzying heights."

The revealing first look poster fetches Rs. 10 crore for ‘Hate Story’

Well, it had been said quite sometime back but it still holds true in our tinsel town – "Only SEX and SRK sell in Bollywood". So when Vikram Bhatt made his thriller 'Hate Story' featuring Nikhil Diwedi and Bengali starlet Paoli Dam only to find it difficult to find buyers for his project, he resorted to the tried and tested formula of a revealing and shocking poster to generate curiosity and draw attention to the project.
Once the first look poster of the film with Paoli revealing her bare back was released, the film fetched over Rs 10 crore for all India theatrical rights. Distributor Ajay Bagbai of Rajvi Entertainment Pvt Ltd has acquired the India theatrical rights for this Bhatt production. Not to mention here that director Agnihotri is all smiles owing to the response. He says, "Within eight to 10 hours, we got 22 lakh views on one site alone. Besides, it has generated a lot of curiosity in the interiors and small towns too. Vikram has written the script. And even while discussing the poster, he came up with this idea."
The movie is an erotic thriller story of a girl, her love and the Revenge she takes for being betrayed. It has been made under the banner of BVG Films, music has been given by Harshit Saxena and cinematography has been done by Attar Singh Saini.
