Ranveer Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha are set to star together in their next project 'Lootera' to be made under the direction of Vikramaditya Motwane. The film will be shot in West Bengal and the hilly regions around that area. The musical notes have been given by Amit Trivedi (Dev D fame). This will be Ranveer's first project outside the Yash Raj Films banner, with whom Ranveer has done Band Baaja Baraat, and the upcoming Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl. The movie is being produced by India's first 'director's production house' – Phantom – helmed by Vikas Bahl, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. Sonam Kapoor has worked in quite a few Bollywood films but she is yet to deliver a major hit here. Now, the actress has moved down South and will be working under the direction of A.R.Murugadoss (Ghajini fame) in a Tamil flick with actor Vijay as her co-star. The film's title is Maalai Nerathu Mazhaithuli - an action adventure and is slated for a 2012 release. The producers wanted Sonam for the role as they felt she was apt for it. When she was approached by them, she just loved the script and agreed to be part of the film. Reports have it that the film will also be made in Hindi and Akshay Kumar will play the lead in its Hindi version. If this happens, Akshay Kumar ans Sonam Kapoor will be paired for the first time for the big screen.   | |

 Eminent film-director Sandwip Roy, on behalf of the jury board, announced the name of Guerilla for the award Thursday. Pashchimbanga Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was present during the announcement at Nandan Cinema Hall in the state capital of India. On November 11, Asian Film Competition was inaugurated through screening "Guerilla" at Nandan Cinema Hall. Later, the second and third shows of the film were aired on November 12 and 14. Guerrilla won the award from among 15 films in Asian Film category. The director of the movie, Nasiruddin Yusuf Bacchu, received the award.  | |

 The production house Nariman Films (known for producing the original Don movie starring Amitabh Bachchan in 1978) has charged Excel Entertainment (owned by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Deshmukh) that their agreement and copyright to remake the original Don movie expired in 2009 and has not been renewed. Another charge by Nariman films is that the title had been registered as 'Don 2 - Return of the King' and since the posters of Don 2 claim 'The King is Back', it is yet another infringement. Nariman Films has sent a legal notice to Excel Entertainment and they intend to approach the courts to halt the release of Don 2 on December 23. Excel Entertainment, on the other hand, claim that Don 2 is a entirely new story and concept and has hence nothing to do with the original movie.  | |

Rajeev plays a stylish, sauve and charming undercover agent. Ayesha will yet again be seen in a bubbly character and has been given a new look with a fusion European-Indian style for her role. With the stills of the flick doing rounds on the net, the two seem to share an excellent chemistry together and Madhavan has been showering praises for his co-star with his tweets. Putting an end to all the guesses and denials about their relationship the two have moved in together in a posh $1.5 million rental home in Santa Monica. The couple were spotted carrying boxes into the house, which appears to be a in a leafy suburban area of the city. Talking about their move, Freida Pinto said, "We recently realised we need a rule like that, because every time we think we're going to be together, something work-related comes up." Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Asif was declared guilty of match fixing by the British courts on October 28. Four days before the verdict, the depressed cricketer call up his ex-girlfriend Veena Malik asking her to be with him in London. It may be mentioned here that Veena Malik had a one and a half year long live-in relationship with the cricketer. They broke up eventually and Asif got married to Sanaa. However, Veena has firmly turned down his request. She says, "It was a mutual friend from, London, Zahid Ali Saab, who called me on October 26 stating that Asif wanted to desperately see me, that he wanted a reconciliation. I declined. How can I turn back the clock? Asif and I shared a beautiful if stormy relationship. We were together until 2008 when I came to know about his match-fixing activities; I left him." Veena added, "I can't deny I still have feelings for him. Relationships don't die, " admits the actress, and adds, "I've no hard feelings about any of my former boyfriends. My time with Asif was special. But I've moved on. Asif is a happily married man. I know his wife Sanaa. Bipasha Basu had last left her admirers drooling with her hot bikini act in 2006 for 'Dhoom 2'. Once again the sexy Bong beauty is out to raise the hotness quotient with a two piece bikini in her forthcoming multi-starrer 'Players'. Bipasha says that she loves being in water and so was very comfortable with the bikini. Her only concern with such scenes is that they should be shot aesthetically and swears by the work of cinematographer Ravi K Chandran at the scene. This particular scene was shot in Wellington in New Zealand where the water was freezing cold. Besides, the scene was scheduled to be shot early in the morning and so Bips had to miss out the fun at Abhishek Bachchan's birthday party the previous night. After considering various options for the bikini, she finally settled for one from her personal wardrobe.
