Akki-Tina not bonding with SRK-Gauri!

Contrary to reports Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle are not bonding with Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri! A recent story about Akshay and Twinkle watching Rowdy Rathore at Shah Rukh Khan's residence along wih his wife Gauri are not true.

Rowdy Rathore aka Akshay Kumar may be thrilled at the success of his film today but he's fuming at a recent report which alleged that he and his wife Twinkle had gone to Shah Rukh's home for a private screening of Rowdy Rathore. The report said that Akshay and wife Twinkle were special guests of SRK and Gauri and the two couples spent an evening bonding together watching the film. Some people even felt that this could be even be the start of a new friendship in B-town. But a source close to the couple insist that the story was, in fact, not true and had upset Akshay and his wife when they came to hear about it.

However a source close to Akshay refutes the story categorically. "When the story came out Akshay and Twinkle were shocked! Akshay even told his wife jokingly that he perhaps had forgotten when they went so could she remind me the exact day? She said she had no clue... Then they realised maybe Rowdy Rathore producer Shabina Khan who is a good friend of Gauri's had perhaps organised a screening specially for Gauri and SRK at Mannat. Shah Rukh and Gauri are known to have their own private trials with their family and close friends there often."

The source adds, "Though initially Akshay and Twinkle were a little upset as the story was completely untrue about their going to Mannat but later the couple had a good laugh about it and decided to ignore the matter.

While it is a known fact that Akshay and Shah Rukh recently bonded at an IPL match the fact remains that though Gauri and Twinkle are cordial towards each other they are not friends and right now at this stage it's a little difficult for them to suddenly bond also. Both being strong, intelligent women are known to also have strong likes and dislikes and their own group of friends who swear loyalty to them. Also while Twinkle is an established interior designer Gauri has just started out.

Triple cake for Sonakshi Sinha on her birthday!!

It rained Birthday cakes for beautiful Sonakshi Sinha as the lady turned 25 on June 2. Celebrations began with the cake cutting on the sets of 'Son Of Sardaar' with her co-stars Ajay Devgan and Tanisha.
Sonakshi Sinha tweeted: One more surprise on the sets of #SoS!! Thank u @ajaydevgn and @tanishaa003! What a birthday this has been… Makes me wonder, whats next in store before the day ends!!
Next, the lovely lady got a special cake from her 'Rowdy Rathore' co-star Akshay Kumar. Sonakshi tweeted about it saying: My Rowdiest co-star @akshaykumar, who claims I hit him – got me the yummiest cake!! Sharing it with you'll ;)
There was yet another birthday cake cutting in the evening in the presence of her father Shatrughan Sinha, mom Poonam Sinha and two brothers Luv and Kush. Sonakshi's last flick 'Rowdy Rathore' has been a rage at the box office and sure enough the team from the film including Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Prabhu Deva and designer Shabina Khan joined Sonakshi in the celebrations.
Twinkle Khanna looked gorgeous with a baby bump in a simple black dress. The baby is reportedly due in September. With Akshay Kumar's birthday on September 9 and Aarav's birthday too in September, if the baby comes in the world on time, the Kumar family will be having three birthdays in Septemer.

Ranbir Kapoor in legal clutches for smoking in public

After Shahrukh Khan and Ajay Devgan, another Bollywood star to join the brigade of those facing a legal lash for smoking in public happens to be Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir was captured by the camera while he was smoking on the sets of his film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in Udaipur and these clicks found a place in a local daily. Offended by these pics, the Udaipur resident Harish Vaishnav filed a complaint against him and now, Ranbir has reportedly been summoned by a local court in Udaipur on June 26 for smoking in a public place.
Ranbir's crime falls under the violation of Section 5 of the Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act, according to which if a person is found guilty of smoking in public places, he can be sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of six months or a fine of Rs. 200.

To auction the wardrobe and lingerie worn by the cast of a film is a common one in Hollywood, but this is for the first time in Bollywood that the clothes worn by the stars will be auctioned for charity!! Talking about Pooja Bhatt's forthcoming 'Jism 2', one can easily guess about the prices they will fetch given the fact that the items will also include the lingerie worn by Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone.
The official Twitter page of Jism 2 posted a hot pic of Leone with the update which read: "Sunny Leone's lingerie along with other clothes of her and other actors up for auction for charity… any takers?" Any? We guess many!
As a response, a fan wrote: "this is a great way of promoting de movie as well as doing charity! U marketing guys truly rock, I'm learing a lot frm U."
The official Jism 2 page also added: "Sneak peek of the garments to be auctioned online for charity. Disrobing never got more noble"!

Madhuri Dixit unveils ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’

Bela Bhansali Sehgal is making her directorial debut with 'Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi' with Farah Khan and Boman Irani in the lead. The movie is being co-produced by Eros International and Bhansali Productions and the film promises to be very different. The first look of the film was unveiled by none other than Madhuri Dixit herself who placed her confidence in the movie and said, "It is such a pleasure to be here today. My association with Sanjayji (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) goes back to 'Devdas'. I have interacted with Belaji too. It is such an unusual story. When you think of Shirin and Farhad, you think of a classic love story. But here they are two very cute characters and I think it will do really well. I wish it all the best."
"I want to wish Farah and Bomanji all the best. I had interacted with Farah during my film 'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam". She was the choreographer. She is fun to work with and I really love her work," she added.
Bhansali thanked the dancing diva for her time and commitment and said: "I want to thank Madhuri for being here. It is a very special gesture. It is very difficult to make Madhuri Dixit to say yes. I know because I have gone through it. It is a very special moment for me."

Veena Malik gets red hot and sensuous for the latest ad of 'Stay On'. She has shown some steamy salsa moves with a co-dancer in the new ad for the aphrodisiac product of 'Stay On'.
Her moves in the ad have been choreographed by Longinus Fernandes. Fernandes has the choreography of "Jai Ho" for Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire and "Pappu Can't Dance Saala" for Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na to his credit. The choreographer is all praises for Veena and goes on to say that she is crazy about dancing.
"Dancing is my passion and salsa is a new thing for me. I am quite nervous and excited about this project. Salsa is like good music, it elevates the spirit and it's an exhilarating freedom," Veena said in a statement.
Veena has made an impressive start in Bollywood. She not only manages to grab headlines through her steamy romances, controversial statements and racy photo shoots but is also busy with quite a few projects, some of them being Mumbai 125 km, Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai, Zindagi 50-50, Rajani Ki Toh Lag Gayi, Supermodel and also the Kannada version of The Dirty Picture.
