Crowd mobs Minissha Lamba shooting in a beachwear

If you have Minissha Lamba flaunting her assets in beachwear, you can definitely not blame anyone if they gather in to enjoy a treat for their eyes. So, when the hottie who had created stirs with her two piece photo shoot for ' Maxim' was shooting for a popular men' s magazine in a beachwear in Goa' s most loved beach Baga beach, onlookers gathered in crowds and some even started clicking her on their cell phones. Unable to handle the huge crowd, the unit immediately shifted to another, more secluded, Agonda beach which is one of the virgin beaches of Goa, where Minissha could carry on with the shoot in a relaxed manner. However, the unit had to manage with wastage of one complete day out of three scheduled days of the shoot. Minissha Lamba is all in for water sports and the shoots were taken under water & showing her surfing. "I had a fantabulous time shooting for the cover with the team especially with the photographer Colston Julian as he is a dear friend of mine. The shoot was not a difficult task for me as I am a national level swimmer. I love water, we also clicked few pictures me surfing it was easy as I had learned surfing in Australia," Minissha shares her experience of the shoot. "Yes the crowd was getting little out of control but the quick thinking from the editorial team saved the day," she added.

Shah Rukh Khan' s production house Red Chillies Entertainment gave a superhit in 2010 with ' My Name is Khan' which was co- produced with Dharma productions. Now, thw production house is all set for their next release in June which happens to be a romantic-comedy titled ' Always Kabhi Kabhi' . Directed by debutant Roshan Abbas, the film has the ' Love Aaj Kal' find Giselle Monteiro play one of the main leads while Karim Morani' s beautiful daughter Zoa Morani is making her Bollywood debut with this film. The film also marks the debut of Satyajeet Dubey, (who played young Nana Saheb in the popular serial Jhansi Ki Rani) and has Ali Fazal (popularly known as Jay Lobo from 3 Idiots) in leading roles. Other actors include Satish Shah, Lilette Dubey, Navneet Nishan, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Mukesh Tiwari and Aakash Khurana. The music for the film has been composed by Pritam. The flick, which is said to draw its inspiration from popular 1999 play Graffiti is about a set of four friends in their last year of their school in Mumbai. The first promo of is expected to be showcased at the screening of the movie Game, which releases this Friday, 1st April 2011. Talking about his experience of making the film, Abbas says, "It took time to develop it into a full-fledged screenplay. Shah Rukh pointed out two things. One, cinema and play are two different mediums and the written material had to be more cinematic. Two, it had to be contemporary. Also, I' d like to clarify, though the film revolves around teens, it' s not inspired by ' Archie' . It actually borrows from real life experiences." "I have truly enjoyed the experience of making Always Kabhi Kabhi. And I wish to continue chasing my dream," he added. A sneak peak into Ekta Kapoor’ s ‘ Ragini MMS’

Alt Entertainment, the production house which came to limelight with Love Sex Aur Dhokha, is co-producing ' Ragini MMS' with Ekta Kapoor. The movie, which is said to be based on true incidents is a paranormal-sensuous film which deals with an MMS that captures things beyond the realm of human understanding. The story begins with a couple who come to a house to spend their romantic weekend unaware of the fact that there are cameras installed in the house where their private moments are being captured. The twist in the story is that something is also being recorded by the camera apart from the love making scenes of the couple. Ekta says that fifty percent of the film is real. However, she preferred not to reveal the identity of the person on whose experience the movie is made, and would neither tell where it happened. But the makers were in touch with this girl and got her approval for the script. The movie stars actor Raj Kumar Yadav of LSD fame and actress Kainaz Motivala who was seen as Taniya in ' Wake Up Sid' . The movie is all set to hit the theaters on May 13, that is Friday.t

John Abraham to host the Indian version of ‘ Survivor’?

While most of the Bollywood biggies have been seen on reality shows, Bollywood hunk John Abraham has not got this opportunity so far. However, the wait seems to be finally over now because, Abraham has reportedly been approached to host the Indian version of the popular international reality show, ' Survivor' . Nothing has been finalized as yet and the channel is also considering Ajay Devgan and Arjun Rampal for the same. Both Ajay and Arjun have already appeared on TV reality shows earlier, the former as the judge of ' Rock n Roll Family, and the latter as the judge for ' Nach Baliye 4' . Among all three, John seems to be the strongest contender. The show is likely to go on air in a couple of months.

Neil Nitin Mukesh to romance Deepika or Sonam?

Unlike most other debutant actors, when Neil Nitin Mukesh stepped into the tinsel town he did not do it with a romantic comedy. He has done a wide genre of films right from action, thrillers to dramas, but not a full-toos romantic comedy. Most of his roles be it Johnny Gaddar, New York or Lafangey Parindey have had serious over tones. If sources are to be believed and if things go right, Neil will get to do his first romantic comedy with Kunal Kohli who is considering either Deepika or Sonam as the leads opposite him. Deepika has already done ' Lafangey Parindey' with Neil but his pairing with Sonam (if it does happen) would be the first one. It may be mentioned here that while Neil has showed great acting skills with serious roles, in real life he has quite an amazing sense of humor and keeps his co-stars on the sets roaring with laughter with his wit and humor.

SRK, Hugh Jackman, Aishwarya and Karan Johar bond at the FICCI

Known as a great entertainer, Shahrukh Khan proved to live up to his name during the closing ceremony of FICCI Frames in Mumbai when he displayed great chemistry with Hugh Jackman and entertained the gathering with his wit and dance along with the foreign guest who was presented with a memento on behalf of Bollywood by none other than the Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai herself. The memento was a Ganesha idol. Hugh recognized the memento and thanked Ash for it. Jackman displayed great wit as he put forward punches like, "Bollywood is very popular in Australia too they all know about it there. I' m looking forward to working here and I' ve even begun meeting directors. Karan, are you listening?" Jackman also expressed his wish to work in the sequel of My Name Is Khan. "We' ll call it My Name Is Jackman and I' m not a tourist," Jackman punned. When SRK remarked how Jackman had once expressed his desire to work with him (SRK), the Aussie star was quick to add that he wanted SRK as a financier. The best part of the entertainment was when Shahrukh made Hugh dance to Madhuri' s song Dhak Dhak. Hugh, too, sportingly took off his jacket and matched every step and expression. Not to mention, the event was a huge success with the audience with a great show put forth by the entertainment masters!!

Ranbir Kapoor & Anoushka Sharma: The new love-birds of the tinsel town?

Well, what started with Anoushka Sharma at Karan Johar' s party in February, continuing with a small party with close friends, cozying up in the backseat of the car and a candid confession at ' Koffee With Karan' has taken up a full fledged form now. The two enjoyed dancing with each other at Karan Johar' s party. Then, Anoushka invited Ranbir Kapoor for a party she held for a select group of friends at her home. They were spotted together yet again when they were out for dinner with a bunch of friends which also included Ranveer and Shahid Kapoor. Later, they were all seen leaving in the same car. While Ranveer sat next to the driver, Ranbir and Anushka were cosying up to each other in the backseat, next to Shahid. So, now when Ranbir is set to star in good friend Ayan Mukherjee' s next film ( the first one being the very successful ' Wake Up Sid') , he is reported to be pressing Ayan to rope in Anushka Sharma as his co-star which happens to be the role is of a spirited girl who' s confident and self assured. Anushka fits the bill perfectly, or so Ranbir feels. However, Deepika Padukone was Ayan' s choice in the first place. Whether or not, Ayan pairs Ranbir with Anoushka will be decided once the script is complete, but the fire has already begun, is surely felt by all!!

Preity Zinta encourages Salman Khan to break Guinness World Records

Well, with Preity Zinta hosting the Guinness Book Of World Records, we can well hope to see hep and happening Bollywood stars on the showt every now and then. So, when actor Salman Khan tried one more go for getting his name etched in the Guinness Book of World Records (he already has quite a few records to his name), he chose the most apt ' T-shirt Ripping' activity for the world record. The current world record stands at 14 and Salman wants to improve it by aiming to tear at least 15 tee shirts. Soha Ali Khan shares her experience of working with her mother

Soha Ali Khan was last in news for her MMS scandal and then her marital knots with beau Kunal Kapoor. Now, the actress has finally some stirrings in her professional front with her film ' Life Goes On' hitting the screens where she has worked with mother Sharmila Tagore. The movie is an emotional drama about generational conflict set in contemporary London. Starring Sharmila Tagore, Girish Karnad, Om Puri and Soha Ali Khan, ' Life Goes On' revolves around a typical Bengali-Brit family, where Girish plays a soft-spoken doctor, whose world turns upside down after the sad demise of his wife Manju (Sharmila). Karnad has more to bear with when he learns about his youngest daughter' s affair with a Muslim doctor. Things get more complicated when one of his daughters is lesbian and another one has a broken home. All in all, the flick is about portraying the inner turmoils and struggles of each. This is Soha' s first film with her mother and she admits that she was scared and nervous while shooting for the film. Soha said that Sharmila is quite moody. At times she can be good and at other times she wont be so. According to director Datta, "Life Goes On is inspired by the old tale of King Lear and his daughters. It is trying to find meaning for Shakespeare' s King Lear in a contemporary multicultural British context."

Bollywood heroines are known for their tantrums and for creting a big ruckus out of a small event. But, professional as Kareena Kapoor is, the lady did not blow out an extra breath even when she was hurt badly while shooting for beau Saif Ali Khan' s film Agent Vinod in Delhi. She suffered a sprain in the neck. Kareena' s character in the flick owes a greyer shade, thus requiring her to do some amount of stunts for the role. During one such sequence, she was required emerge from a helicopter (using a harness). She fell from the harness at some distance from the ground, thus, spraining her neck in the bargain. However, Kareena says that she has no qualms about doing action scenes and in fact, she is enjoying it on her part. All we have to say is ' Way to go Girl'!!

Kangana Ranaut ushers in her 24th birthday with a bash

Tuesday night was all fun and frolic for Kangana Ranaut who ushered in her 24th birthday with a lavish bash for friends from the film industry at her residence in Santa Cruz, a western suburb in Mumbai. Kangana looked gorgeous as ever in her chic black and orange dress. Among the bigwigs who joined in the celebration were Mallika Sherawat, Ritesh Deshmukh, Jimmy Shergill and director Madhur Bhandarkar. Those invited but who could not make it to the party were Sanjay Dutt, David Dhawan, Arjun Rampal, Ekta Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. But the star who stole the show was our ' Dabangg' Khan who walked in quite late at the party along with sister Arpita Khan, thus putting an end to the misunderstanding between him and Kagnana. Not to mention here that Kangana was overjoyed to receive this unexpected guest. The party was also interrupted by cops who reportedly fined Kangana for loud music.
