‘Housefull 2′ stars promote the movie at DJ Sanghvi College fest

It was all fun, frolic and fans going crazy as Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee & Shreyas Talpade promoted their upcoming film Housefull 2 at the DJ Sanghvi College Fest. The movie stars were all attired in casual denims and t-shirts giving a cool college going look. Actress Zarine Khan added appeal with her glasses. Not to mention here that the students of the college went crazy with their favourite movie stars amidst them.
Shreyas Talpade said: "That's the kind of crowd that we need for our film; it's a completely mad film and we need some really mad people to go out there and have a good time."
With just three weeks remaining for the release of the film, the cast and crew are all set for a huge promotional campaign planned by Sajid Nadiadwala and Sajid Khan.
Says Riteish who plays one of the four 'Jollys' in the film, "Now that HOUSEFULL 2 promotion has kick-started, you would see a much bigger campaign since the film requires that."

This is one award function with a difference. Celebrating the worst of Bollywood every year, TheGhantas.com decides the nominees through a panel of experts. The winners, who were decided through online public voting held between Feb – March 16th, 2012, were announced at a ceremony at The Comedy Store, Mumbai on Saturday, March 17th 2012. The event was hosted by ace comedians Varun Thakur, G. Khamba, Varun Grover, Aditi Mittal and Karan Talwar. It was all laughs and an evening full of witty humor. Bollywood to spice up IPL 5 opening ceremony

Bollywood and cricket go hand in hand and what better way to open up the most awaited fifth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) with a host of Bollywood biggies like Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra.
No wonder IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla calls the opening ceremony to be "a lineup of big names."
"With four highly successful seasons behind us, we hope to raise the standards of the competition even higher, as we look forward to celebrating DLF IPL 2012 with much fanfare, starting with Opening Nite," said Rajeev Shukla adding, "We want to thank all the supporters for their continued support as they have made the league what it is today. We are proud to boast a lineup of big names to kick start the 2012 season in style."
Amitabh Bachchan will play the host for the opening ceremony at YMCA College of Physical Education on April 3 in Chennai. There will be surprise performances from Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
An all excited Priyanka Chopra tweeted, "Gosh! Crazy few days!! 20 hr days!! And lovin it.. Ok so what act do u guys suggest I do for the IPL opening ceremony.. Shud be so fun!!"

Sachin Joshi paired up with Mallika Sherawat in ‘Mumbai Mirror’

Sachin Joshi bagged in not only critical accolades but also a Stardust Award for his debut flick 'Aazaan' and now the actor moves further in his career with his next project 'Mumbai Mirror' where he will be seen as a quirky cop which will give the cinegoers a glimpse of the dark Mumbai underbelly. The female lead for the flick will be played by sex kitten Mallika Sherawat in the role of an irresistible dance bar queen. The movie deals with the clash between powerful corrupt dance bar lords and the Mumbai Police.
The movie will be directed by Ankush Bhatt, of Bhindi Bazaar Inc. fame, and the musical scores will be done by Anand Raj Anand. "Mallika and Sachiin make a very unique and fresh pair. Mallika is the apple of the teenage eyes, and her chemistry with daredevil Sachiin is sure to create a hullabaloo," says the director.

Bollywood stars at Balaji Global Indian Film and TV Awards 2012

It was all glamour, glitter and a star studded affair when Ekta Kapoor held the third Balaji Global Indian Film and TV Awards 2012 at Filmcity. The attendance was impressive including the likes of Ranbir Kapoor Bipasha Basu, Kangna Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Leone, Jeetendra, Jiah Khan, Vidya balan and Priyanka Chopra among others. The event was hosted perfectly by Karan Johar. About her award function being different and classier from other award functions, Ekta Kapoor said, "The idea is to create something that is fun and will set a benchmark of sorts. People shouldn't feel it's just another awards function," says Ekta, adding that even her mother Shobha Kapoor wants it to be a tasteful, plush affair.
"We will be pulling people's legs without making them uncomfortable," says Manuj Agarwal, CEO, Balaji Telefilms. Actors like Priyanka Chopra and Saif Ali Khan spiced up the event with their performances. Catch a glimpse…..
