Sunny Leone appears in the new ad campaign for PETA

Posted: 31 Jul 2012 11:06 AM PDT

The 'People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' (PETA) India have chosen Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone for their next ad campaign. This particular brand new campaign shows Sunny in a white top with a wink standing next to the caption which reads:
'Too Much Sex Can Be a Bad Thing. Sterilise your dogs and cats'.
The ad was shot by leading photographer Gaurav Sawn. Sunny, who was the 2003 Penthouse Pet of The Year, says, "I believe in not buying-and adopting. And it's because there's so many dogs out there that need a home, that were left on the streets. They just need that love, and if you can rescue an animal, then that's one of the greatest gifts you can give."
She further says, "I believe that every single dog should be spayed and neutered. You don't want to continue the cycle of homeless dogs or cats. And spaying and neutering also keeps them healthy. It prevents them from having different diseases that they can get if they are not."
In her house at Los Angeles, Sunny owns two rescued dogs. Her Bollywood debut flick 'Jism 2' has donated the sexy lingerie worn by Leone in the film to PETA for auction. The auction begins on 3rd August 2012

The makers change the lyrics of Chitrangada Singh’s ‘Kaafirana’

Posted: 31 Jul 2012 11:05 AM PDT

36 year old Chitrangada Singh has gone raunchy and sensuous with her hot Marathi item number in Shirish Kunder's forthcoming 'Joker'. The song is titled 'Kaafirana' and Shirish has himself worked on the lyrics of the song, but unfortunately some words went overboard and were charged of being offensive and vulgar.
As such, the makers of the film have changed the lyrics of the song "I want fakht you" to "I want just you" to avoid any unwanted controversies. However, the words 'Fakht You' mouthed by Chitrangada in the song are actually Marathi words which mean "only you".
"So everyone doesn't understand it. They can interpret it in some other way also. So, to save that situation, they (filmmakers) decided to go with 'Just you' and it is just as much fun, " explained Chitrangada adding, "Some people found it ('I want fakht you') offensive, but that is not the intention of the filmmakers at all. It is a family film and for kids."
Chitrangada's looks and sensuality in the song is being compared to that of Madhuri Dixit in 'Humko Aajkal Hai Intazaar' and Kareena Kapoor's 'Halkat jawani'. However, comparisons do not trouble her and she says, "Well, I think comparisons are inevitable. Whatever you do, you may dance like the other person or not, there are bound to be comparisons about whether you did good enough or you didn't do good enough. But I think it is great that this is the time for songs like this and I think we have a great number."

Aamir Khan’s ‘Satyamev Jayate’ comes to an end

Aamir Khan's ambitious television show 'Satyamev Jayate' completed its 3 week journey on television and came to an end this Sunday with a hope to have stirred the conscience of the nation and a hope to make a difference in the days to come.
Aamir's talk show focussed on several burning issues of our society ranging from female foeticide, child sex abuse, medical malpractice, manual scavenging and dowry. Aamir also took pains off-screen to deal with the issues further. He met Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to request the creation of a fast track court to decide the cases of the doctors, none of who have been penalised in the female foeticide cases.
"When India's leaders envisaged building a new nation after independence, the constitution was the foundation stone of this endeavour. We had resolved to establish a sovereign, secular, democratic republic with justice, liberty, equality and fraternity for all. After 65 years of Independence, are we actually living up to those principles," Aamir asked.
The final episode appreciated and brought to limelight the contribution of The Sarvodaya Trust in giving shelter to both Hindu and Muslim children after the 2001 devastating earthquake in Gujarat , the contribution of Sunitha Krishnan in rehabilitating prostitutes and rape victims through her anti-trafficking organisation Prajwala and also the efforts of Naseema Hurzuk, a wheelchair bound lady who runs Helpers Of The Handicapped, an organisation helps disabled.
