After TV, Aamir makes his debut on radio with ‘Dil Pe Lagi’ Posted: 12 May 2012 10:25 AM PDT Aamir Khan is one actor who puts in his hundred percent whenever he takes up a project. His television show titled 'Satyamev Jayate' based on social issues has hit the right chord. The first episode of the show based on female infanticide has hit the right chord and the Government has been forced to look into the issue. Now, taking a step further with the cause, Aamir is anchoring a radio show titled 'Dil Pe Lagi Aur Baat Bani' which goes on air today. Similar to his television show, the radio programme too will deal with social issues bringing up the real-life incidents related with them. Dil Pe Lagi Aur Baat Bani will air on Saturdays at 3:30 pm This radio show is being aired on a government-owned station, All India Radio and its associate stations Vividh Bharati. It may be mentioned here that Aamir's TV show 'Satyamev Jayate' is also aired on both the Star network and the public channel.

‘Heroine’ drains Kareena Kapoor emotionally Posted: 12 May 2012 10:22 AM PDT Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Heroine' is a challenging and ambitious project and Kareena Kapoor is putting in all her efforts into it. So much so, that the strain of hard work is taking a toll on petite Bebo's health. The movie requires some intense emotional performance from the actress and professional as Kareena is, she really sunk into her character. Kareena believes in getting into the character to bring out a natural performance. In the scenes where she has to shout at her co-actors Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda, Kareena really let the emotions of anger rise in her so that when the take was called she was natural in expressing the rage and the pain that her character was supposed to feel at those moments. She even refused to use glycerin to induce tears and cried naturally for the shot. In one of such scenes, when action was called, Kareena was actually sobbing and giving her dialogue in between sniffles, while the rest of the unit watched in awe. All this emotional strain left Kareena exhausted and with a sore throat and husky voice. Kareena was unwell for a couple of days but didn't let it affect the shoot schedule.
