Kareena Kapoor signs endorsement deal with a lemonade brand for Rs. 5 crore

Kareena Kapoor may not be clear about her marriage plans but the girl is surely going places at her professional front. The moment her contract with a popular cola company expired, Bebo lost no time in signing another deal with a lemonade brand for a whopping amount of Rs. 5 crore. She has also started the shoot for the commercial at Brabourne studio in Mumbai.
With this, Kareena Kapoor has about 16 brand endorsements to her credit. 2011 was a big year for the actress with quite a few hits. Her latest 'Agent Vinod' was a success at the box office and she also signed Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Heroine' for a big amount of Rs. 8 crore which is the highest sum ever paid to an actress in our industry.
Kareena was also spotted shooting for her very first commercial with the brand a few days ago at Brabourne studio in Mumbai. Adds the source, "Both Katrina and Asin who endorse soft drinks have had ads that have gained a lot of popularity.
Though Kareena Kapoor says, "I am not allowed to talk money!", here is a look at the charges of top Bollywood actresses for their endorsement deals. Katrina Kaif charges Rs. 4 to 4.5 crore per deal, Priyanka Chopra Rs. 3 to 3.5 crore per deal, Deepika Padukone Rs. 2 to 3 crore, Madhuri Dixit Rs. 1 to 2 crore, Vidya Balan Rs. 1 to 1.5 crore and Anushka Sharma Rs. 80 lakh per deal.

When Dhanush's 'Kolaveri D' became a huge rage across the country, little did people know that the film '3' would bomb at the box office. Owing to the success of the song, Andhra based distributor Natty Kumar invested about Rs 6 crore on the dubbed Telugu version and apparently was aghast when the film failed.
A devastated Natty was quoted saying, "I secured the distribution rights of the Telugu version of 3 for a whopping sum of Rs 4.3 crores, though I was aware that Dhanush's market in Andhra Pradesh wasn't more than Rs 10 lakhs. Even my friends criticised me for risking such a huge sum on the film.
I did so as I had huge faith in the family members of superstar Rajnikanth. I felt Aishwaryaa's debut directorial venture would do well in Andhra Pradesh."
Natty's blame game did not end here. He went on to blame Dhanush, Aishwarya and Shruti Hassan saying, "Dhanush and Aishwaryaa didn't keep their promise to visit Hyderabad on April 1 for promotions.
Besides, they didn't attend the film's premiere show, which disappointed me even more. I have incurred huge losses because of the film's poor showing."
Not to mention here that Rajnikanth is upset with these remarks and has offered to make good the loss of Natty. He has even promised to get his daughter and son-in-law out of this major financial mess. Prior to this, Rajni Sir had compensated distributors who faced losses on his film Kuselan.

Salman Khan to gift a BMW to Kareena Kapoor?

Till now Kareena Kapoor had maintained her stand that she would not do item numbers for any flick. However, when her friend and 'Bodyguard' co-star Salman Khan requested her to shake it for an item number in his forthcoming 'Dabangg 2', Bebo could not manage to give out a NO.
So, now we have Kareena Kapoor to do a sizzling item number in 'Dabangg 2' and Salman, known for his gestures of appreciation has decided to gift a BMW to her to repay her favours.
This is a tweet from the UTV Motion Pictures' senior manager Prithwish Ganguly: "@BeingSalmanKhan to gift Kareena Kapoor a BMW for being a part of Dabangg 2"
Well, this is not the first time that a Bollywood star has shown his gratitude to a colleague for a favour. Prior to this, SRK had gifted Sanjay Dutt a bike worth Rs. 15 lakh for his cameo in Ra.One. Again, Akshay Kumar made a huge donation to Salman Khan's Being Human charity when Sallu Bhai made a song appearance in Tees Maar Khan

Emraan and Esha get cozy for ‘Tujhe Sochta Hoon’

Given the fact that it is a Mahesh Bhatt film and stars our serial kisser Emraan Hashmi along with kingfisher's sexy Esha Gupta, it is but obvious that 'Jannat 2' would be raising the standards of hotness and boldness in Bollywood. The leaked video of 'Tujhe Sochta Hoon' from the flick is doing rounds on the net and shows a passionate lovemaking scene between Emraan and Esha who play husband and wife in the movie. There is also a passionate lip lock between the two. Confirming her bold scenes in the film Esha says, "Yes, there are a few kissing scenes in "Jannat 2″, but we have shown love between husband and wife, it's not like some wild animals making out." Well, Esha has shown that she has no qualms about shedding clothes and doing bold scenes. No wonder Bhatts seem to be so impressed by her. Gupta has bagged a three-film contract with the Bhatts. After Jannat 2 she will be seen in Raaz 3.
