Model Poonam Pandey, who has vowed to strip naked if India wins the World Cup cricket title, has been dragged to court in Bhopal, with a lawyer accusing her of depicting Brahmins in poor light. RK Pandey also named Indian liquor baron Vijay Mallya, who included a scantily clad Poonam in his company' s Kingfisher calendar, in his petition filed in the court of Bhopal's chief judicial magistrate. Mallya has been accused of prompting Poonam to go for nudity. "Even if Poonam does not run naked, she should be punished as she not only gave a wrong impression of the (Brahmin) community but insulted Indian culture," the lawyer told reporters. The case will be heard April 5.

The Kingfisher Calender girl's intention to bare all is bound to pile on additional pressure on the Indian cricket team already coping with mounting crowd expectations at home, not having won the Cup since 1983. April 3: "Jai Ho", "Jai Hind" and "Vande Mataram" was the response of Bollywood celebrities like Madhuri Dixit, Shilpa Shetty, Sushmita Sen and Anupam Kher as India beat Sri Lanka to win the cricket World Cup after 28 years. The film fraternity saluted Indian captain M.S. Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar, apart from congratulating Sri Lanka for a tough match.

Mumbai, April 2 - Though an ardent cricket lover, Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan decided against cancelling Saturday's shooting for a Karan Johar film to catch the India-Sri Lanka World Cup final in Wankhede. The actor is shooting for the adapted version of the 1990 hit 'Agneepath', produced and directed by Karan Johar. 'Knowing Hrithik's love for the game, Karan Johar asked Hrithik if he would like to take a day off to watch the final, but the professional actor said a firm 'NO',' a source said. Though Hrithik appreciated Karan's gesture, he also understood that a lot of money would be wasted if the shooting schedule was upset, said the source. A huge fan of Sachin Tendulkar, Hrithik had allotted his dates months in advance for the shooting. Till Wednesday, when India won the semifinal against Pakistan in Mohali, no one was sure that India would be in the finals. Hrithik's decision saves the day for over 400 junior artists who are shooting with him on a huge set that has been constructed for the sequence. Washington, Apr 2: A documentary-reality series on medical abnormalities, unusual fetishes and the science behind sexual attraction is to be aired in the second season of 'Strange Sex' of TLC. The 10 episode docu-reality series profiles a range of individuals brave enough to divulge the trials and tribulations of their various conditions. It will include a Muslim couple who waited until their wedding night to have sex only to discover they were unable to consummate their nuptials, a woman born with two vaginas dealing with the possibility she will not be able to have children. And, in the debut episode, Ron Low, a typical suburban husband and father from Chicago on a mission to help men restore their foreskin, will be featured. "In 2001 I realized I had to do something to improve my sex life because it was getting to be dull," Fox News quoted Low, an industrial engineer, as saying. "I researched online and found out there are a lot of men restoring their foreskins and I decided to do it too. "The tape less device I wanted wasn't available, so that got me tinkering in my own basement to make a device based on some ideas I had seen online and came up with a way to make these things to meet my needs. "I hope when you see (the show) you get an appreciation for how foreskin restoration really benefits men. It makes up for a lot of damage," he stated.
