After Celina Jaitley, another Bollywood actress to come into limelight for supporting gay rights is Mallika Sherawat. The sex kitten is all set to host a gay bash at legendary Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles to celebrate the engagement of her gay friends Alex Bulger and Rick Ferrari.
Mallika met the two through a common friend at a party and instantly became friends. Rick and Alex are part of that set. Mallika has organized this party along with her friend Helene Bodet and they have planned a lavish menu with the favourite dishes of Alex and Rick.
She has even sent out e-invites on behalf of the couple, which reads, 'Rick and I would love for you to attend our celebration! We officially became Domestic Partners last month, and are waiting for it to become legal for us to marry. Join us for hor d'oeurves and cake. We have invited people who are near and dear to us and would be honored if you attended. There will be a cash bar. Looking forward to sharing our special night with you.'
Mallika says, "I am celebrating the engagement of my very close friends Rick and Alex. Hopefully in the future, gay couples all over the world will have the right to celebrate their union openly."

Priyanka Chopra extends her stay at Ibiza to take a week long break

Work has been keeping Priyanka Chopra on her toes for quite sometime now. The actress had been slogging hard for not one or two, but five movies at one go. She has her schedules packed with her forthcoming Don 2, Agneepath, Teri Meri Kahani, Barfi! and Krrish 3. Besides, she is also working on her music album.
Recently, the actress was in Spain to work on her music album. The actress was so smitten by the city that she decided to take her much needed break and extended her stay at Ibiza for a week in order to relax.
After her week long break in Ibiza gets over, Piggies Chops will start working on a two-month schedule with Hrithik Roshan for their superhero film.

Watch them grooving together and you cannot help uttering out, 'Masha Allah! What a perfectly ravishing pair they make together!!' Talking about ex-lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the two exude great chemistry as the video of the song 'Masha Allah' from Kabir Khan's forthcoming 'Ek Tha Tiger' hits the internet.
The song has been shot in the backdrop of an Arab town (Casablanca or Maraakesh) and begins with Katrina walking amidst the bazaar with a veil on her face. Next, off goes the veil revealing Katrina's immortal beauty in a skimpy choli. It looks perfectly natural as Salman follows her around praising her singing, "Mashallah, chehra hai mashallah!"  in lyricist Kausar Munir's words. The song has been composed by Sajid Wajid and sung by Wajid and Shreya Ghoshal.
Katrina is sure to leave her fans drooling with her exotic movements as she shimmies in the sand. It is learnt that the actress has learnt a new dance form of belly dancing floor work for this song.

The first poster of Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha's forthcoming 'Joker' is out giving us an ample hint of the fact that the movie is set on the backdrop of a village and has aliens to help the lead actors pull the storyline. The movie is supposed to be an adventure comedy set in and around the village Paglapur.
A few days back, giving us a hint of the storyline, Sonakshi Sinha wrote on Twitter: "JOKER refers to a place that does not exist on the global map. Just like #Joker in a pack of cards that does not belong to any colour."
The film has Akshay Kumar playing an NRI and Sonakshi Sinha his wife. When Akshay returns to his village Paglapur, he finds it totally neglected by the government and the village doesn't even feature anywhere on the map of India. So, to draw attention to his village, he creates a hoax and pretending to be an illiterate villager tells a reporter of having sighted a UFO, that is Udta Firta Omlette. What follows next and how long it takes before the bluff is revealed will be revealed when the film hits the theatres on August 31.
The film is Akshay's 100th movie and also stars Minnisha Lamba and Shreyas Talpade.

Esha Gupta strips before 300 extras for a sequence in ‘Raaz 3′

Model-turned-actress Esha Gupta may have gone topless for her modelling assignments, but stripping down in front of 300 odd extras on the sets of 'Raaz 3' was not a cup of cake for her. Though, she was very hesitant to do the shot and repeatedly requested director Vikram Bhatt to cancel the scene, Esha had to finally shoot the sequence as the scene happens to be integral to the plot.
Recalling the experience, Esha Gupta says, "My character is wearing a sexy gown when she enters a party hall. However, soon she sees ghosts moving towards her and crisscrossing through her body. In order to get rid of them, I was required to scream and rip my clothes."
It took a lot of coaxing and support from her friends that helped Esha to relax on the sets and do the shot properly. She pulled off the sequence so well that once she wrapped up the scene, the crew members couldn't stop clapping and cheering her.

Sherlyn Chopra to be the first Indian to shoot for ‘Playboy’

Actress Sherlyn Chopra (D grade so called bollywood actress) has been long missing from the limelight since newbies like Poonam Pandey have taken over as stripping beauties. However, Sherlyn has hit it hard just right and will now become the first Indian to shoot (rather strip) for the celebrated magazine Playboy.
Sherlyn has already landed in LA, and posted her pic with Hugh Hefner on her social networking site with the tweet which read, "Even at 87, he knows how to be an effortless charmer!!!"
It is being said that she was a guest at Hugh Hefner's mansion for a few days.
Hugh Hefner also tweeted, "Playing dominoes with @CrystalHarris @trishafrick @ChelseaRyan_pb @cristalcamden @missashleyhobbs @sherlynchopra."
He posted yet another tweet: "Playmate Ashley Hobbs won tonight's domino game with Crystal, Trisha, Chelsea, Cristal Camden, Sherlyn Chopra from India & me. A fun night."

Why is Biapsha Basu missing from Rocky S’s production debut?

Bipasha Basu and designer Rocky S are known to be old and very good friends in the industry. Bipasha has been the designer's showstopper at many fashion shows including the recently held Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. So, when the designer launched his maiden production venture titled 'Main Anna Nahin Hoon', it came as a surprise when he did not take any of his star friends in the cast including Bipasha Basu. He, instead, chose to sign in actors like Prashant Narayanan, Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Shirganpare and Sammer Dharman Adhikari for the lead roles.
Explaining the reason for signing lesser known actors and emphasizing on the fact that he has not had a fall out with Bips or anyone else, Rocky S said, "I wanted my first venture to be a small budget film, so that I could learn the ropes and move up eventually. In the past few years scores of small budget films with unknown but good actors have performed better. It's basically the content that makes a film work."
While the movie deals with exposing people's hypocrisy as a society with regard to Anna's agitation, Rocky stresses on the fact that he holds Anna Hazare in high esteem. "The film does not disrespect Anna in any way. He is shown to be an honest and great person in the film. The hypocrisy with which people approach his agitations is the crux of the film," he says.
Rocky says that his next project would be an out and out commercial flick with big bidget and big names.
"My next venture will be a big budget film with the best names in the industry! Everything is yet under cover, as our team is working on it, and right now saying much about anything does not do it justice. The only thing constant is the director Manish Gupta with whom I've forged a long-working relationship. And I'm sure, together we can create landmark cinema," he says.

Bollywood grieves at the loss of Dara Singh

Bollywood grieves deeply at the demise of wrestler, actor, producer, director and mentor Dara Singh whose is hailed as the first true action hero of our industry. Dara Singh met with an heart attack at 7:30 am on Thursday morning at his residence. He featured in over 140 films, including "Watan Se Door", "Daada", "Rustom-E-Baghdad", "Sher Dil", "Sikandar E Azam", "Raaka", "Mera Naam Joker" and "Dharam Karam". He was last seen in the 2007 release "Jab We Met". He is best known for his role as Hanuman in smaller screen's mega serials Ramayan and Mahabharat.
Singh also has the credit of fighting with international wrestlers like Lou Thesz and Stanislaus Zbyszko, and had over 500 professional fights to his credit – all undefeated. He won the Professional Indian Wrestling Championship in 1953, and took away the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship trophy in 1959 by defeating Canadian champion George Godianko. He has also received titles like Rustam-E-Punjab (1966) and Rustam-E-Hind (1978).
Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, who played Dara Singh's son in 1985 action film Mard, remembers Dara Singh as one of the 'finest humans' whose demise ended an era.
"Dara Singh ji passed away this morning. A great Indian and one of the finest humans… An entire era of his celebrated presence gone!," Bachchan, 69, wrote on Twitter.

Kareena Kapoor to play PM in Prakash Jha’s next?

Rumors have been rife that Kareena Kapoor has walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela' because she is unable to adjust the dates for the film owing to her marriage plans. However, we have also heard that the actress is all set to sign Prakash Jha's forthcoming political sequel where she will be playing the role of Prime Minister of India. Her co-star in the flick will be Ajay Devgan and Kareena will be seen in an all de-glam look.
The film is expected to go on the floors by the end of the year. Though Kareena and Jha have had a verbal workout, formalities are yet to be completed. Kareena is already set on the task of her research for the role and has asked her team to shortlist the names of all major female prime ministers all across the world.

Ameesha Patel busy with five films in her kitty

Ameesha Patel may have been missing from the limelight for quite some time now. But the actress is back in the B-town with a bang and is so busy with her work that she hardly gets enough sleep. If sources are to be believed the actress worked non-stop for five days last week with only five hours sleep.
The actress is managing her shooting schedules of 'Race 2 and 'Bhaiyyaji Superhit'. Last week, she returned from Istanbul and left for Surat directly from the airport itself to perform at an event. After this, she immediately returned to Mumbai and took an early morning flight to New Delhi where she was invited as a chief guest for a ribbon cutting ceremony. After this, she returned to Mumbai and shot till the late hours for her sunglasses ad. Not that, Ameesha is complaining because she enjoys work and loves her workload.
Ameesha is excited about her forthcoming 'Bhaiyyaji Superhit' where she stars opposite Sunny Deol and 'Race 2' where she has some really bold sequences, in one of which she is seen emerging from water in a teeny-tweeny two-piece bikini.
At present, the actress has five films in her kitty and she is loving every bit of it.

First Look: Ishkq in Paris

Preity Zinta has launched the first look of her comeback film, 'Ishkq in Paris', which is set in the enchanting backdrop of French capital. The poster in divided into three parts: The first has a couple gazing at the Eiffel Tower at 7:55 pm, the second displays two people enjoying drinks at a bar lounge at 2:35, while the third shows them moving out of a library cafe in the wee hours of the morning.
The movie is a love story drawing inspiration from the Hollywood superhit 'Before Sunrise' and is shot in famous tourist spots like Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum in Paris. The film is directed by Prem Soni and produced by Preity Zinta and also stars French actress and two-time Oscar nominee Isabelle Adjani in the lead role. The film will release in September this year.
Priety plays a half French and half Indian woman in the film and has also given considerable contribution in the script.

Ajay Devgan to host ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 5′

Superhit telly show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' and Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar have been going along quite well for its past seasons. However, this season Akshay will not be able to host the show as his wife Twinkle Khanna is expecting her second baby and Akki does not want to compromise on his fatherly duties.
With Akshay Kumar out of the boat, the makers were left with two other choices of John Abraham and Ajay Devgan. Unforunately, John is keeping busy these days with his forthcoming 'Shootout At Wadala', 'Race 2', 'Happy New Year' and Shoojit Sircar's next. With no dates to spare, he refused to be a part of the show.
So, now the upcoming fifth season of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' will have Ajay Devgan as the host. Ajay made his entry into Bollywood as a pure action hero with 'Phool Aur Kaante' and he could accommodate the dates for the show.

Censor Board denies a U-certificate to Onir’s ‘I AM’

Censor Board denied giving a U-certificate to filmmaker Onir's award-winning film 'I AM' owing to the fact that it deals with controversial issues like sperm donation, gay rights, Kashmiri Pandits and child sex abuse. Onir is upset with Board's decision and says that inspite of making the demanded cuts, he did not get a U-certificate as a result of which he cannot air the show on Doordarshan. Onir also challenged this decision saying that a show like Aamir Khan's Satyamev Jayate, which too deals with true stories on issues like child sex abuse and alcoholism gets a prime time slot but his film is deprived of this right.
Onir says, "Satyamev Jayate also deals with serious social issues, but it has got prime time slot. It is a good thing that serious shows like Satyamev Jayate are being shown at prime time but at the same time Doordarshan cannot show I AM. And I cannot even apply for it. I have already cut out seven minutes of the film and abuses. How can you deny that? I find it very strange because for other satellite rights, you require an U/A certificate, which I have. For Doordarshan, you need an U-certificate, which is ridiculous. I think we are so stuck up with our beliefs that we forget that rules are made for us and we are not made for the rules."
Onir also expressed his anger on Twitter's social forum. He wrote: "I am dismayed at the double standards of the censor board. While its ok to show 'Satyame Jayate' on DD prime time. 'I AM' is refused." "Today, I feel a little defeated – thank you censor board!!!" he further wrote.
Released in 2011, Onir raised funds for I AM through crowd sourcing and as many as 400 people around the world funded the film. The movie stars Rahul Bose, Arjun Mathur, Sanjay Suri, Abhimanyu Singh, Radhika Apte, Sharnaz Patel, Anurag Kashyap, Juhi Chawla, Manisha Koirala, and Purab Kohli.

Saif, Deepika and Diana at the BMW Cocktail party

The promotions of 'Cocktail' have kick started and as the leading stars, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty, make public appearances, the fans are obviously smitten by their glamour and style hoping the flick to be high on style quotient. Recently, the three appeared at the Cocktail promotions with BMW at the Mini Cooper showroom in Santa Cruz on Friday, July 6. All three arrived around 11.00 p.m. Deepika was driving a Mini Cooper with Diana on the front seat and Saif sitting at the back. Deepika parked the car opposite the showroom and as soon as the three got out, a huge crowd gathered around them. To control the crowd, the bouncers started pushing the people and in the hustle-bustle some camerapersons' tripods, camera lights and head phones were broken. However, those whose equipment's were broken were compensated through cheques at the spot only. Deepika looked bold and ravishing in a silky herringbone design and snakeskin print jumpsuit from Diesel. She did not hesitate a bit in flaunting her back with hair tied neatly.
